Nearly forgot!!!!! Snowy, have you made any decision about *increasing* your family? You know that bundle of fluff is calling you:rotfl:
Churchmouse, you know me too well.... of course I gave in and confirmed today that I would take the little kitten. She's moving in at the weekend - I have Monday and Tuesday off w**k so it'll be good to have four full days with her and the two kitties I already have. Their noses are going to be so out of joint! As soon as I get organised I'll take a proper "professional" photo of her and post it. Hearts are going to melt as she's so pretty!!0 -
Evening all ..... shhhhh DGS is finally asleep. he is staying over while mummy goes to an 18th. The poor thing - all her friends are having carefree 18ths and she has to arrange childcare - this is her third in a month with another one coming up on friday. She will have to come back here tonight though as I am at w*rk tomorrow. Bless him - he called me a Naughty Dalek - when it was time to get out of the bath.
Very non O/S fish and chips today for tea but I didn't get out of court until half five. The other girls had told the manager about my problems with my colleague - he checked her clock and she had clocked out way after five so could have stayed for me - i am the fifth person to complain about her this week and it's only tuesday!
well DD has just ome home and asked if she can keep her sister overnight tomorrow - am going to celebrate by having an early night
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Sorry, haven't read the previous posts, I will tomorrow! Got back from being out; another 4 weeks for my foot; it is slowly beginning to heal.........
The play was OK; not wonderful; we saw 12th Night. Wesaw the same one last year (DH forgot!) and that production was better.
Off to bed now!0 -
Hello all,
Special 'hello' to RachelleBlondel...you will like it here I know.
Started off another bright day in a good mood...the sun does it to me...two loads of washing out, two others in, sorted and distributed as appropriate. On then to a little gardening, repotting Clivia plant which had really outgrown its pot and taking more fuchsia cuttings...almost all the pink ones done now, whites next I think and on to the purple/blue and 'ordinary' ones then...am determined to have lots as Christmas presents this year, many people seem to find them difficult but I have never had trouble rooting cuttings. Freesias are blooming in window boxes and scent is wonderful.
Had visitors this morning with a five year old to play with dgss...dgs2 gone to his dad for the day so dgs1 and dgd1 had a wonderful time, up and down steps, in and out of tent, swinging and sliding, while the adults had a peaceful coffee and the last of Twinks hobnobs, will make more to-morrow.
DD2 not feeling well this afternoon, went to bed but is apparently still having cramps...13 weeks pregnant to-day but has had about 6 miscarriages before and since dgd1 was born, including an ectoptic one, so am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be ok...she says very little to me in order not to worry me, but I'm getting the vibes so I worry anyway.
Spent two hours watering containers and greenhouse, they dry out so quickly and I seem to have a lot more containers than ever before...gave them a good soaking so should be ok for a couple of days and I'm sure there will be rain.
Oh cooked a barbecue for dinner, so sausages, burgers, spuds, salad, all very easy for me, yogurt and fruit for pudding.
Hugs to all in trouble or in need of comfort, sleep well

Hey Bargain. How are you? Wear some latex gloves when you apply the moisturiser - theyre pretty cheap and you can wear them a few times before you throw them out.... And that will be my OS contribution for the day!! :rolleyes:0
