Morning All
Just had breakfast at work. Overslept this morning, but it took forever to actually getto sleep last night, then was woken up at 2am by the dog barking:mad:
Got a meeting with the boss later:eek: That should be fun. He's taking me out for coffee so it's informal.
Can't believe tomorrow is August! Going to the football tonight with a friend and been offered two more gigs at speedway:T
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning :hello:
I've caught up with the threads from the past couple of days (hadn't read them properly at the time), big hugs to those who need them :grouphug:
Gonna be busy busy busy today. My house will be gleaming by lunchtime
I've just found out that not everyone in Glos has their water back on, so if any of you need washing done - or if you know people who live near me and they need anything - send me a PM. I'll warn you now, I use cheapy cheap washing powder and fabric softener - if you don't like using that, you'll have to bring your own
I have bottled water too, we're picking up less now that our water is on but we can pick up more if it's needed. Bulletproof0 -

Morning Guys!
Not had a good night but cant moan as theres always someone worse than yourself:o
We took DD and her friend to Rochester yesterday for a meal at Frankie & Bennys (£30 complaint voucher towards it) and to watch Hairspray. The 3 course meal, drinks and the cinema cost us £9.70:D ...bargain!! The film was fantastic and we all loved it. We took our own popcorn (6 medium bags for 99p in the 99p store)
Today, DD is going round her friends to stay till tomorrow evening. They are going to Gillingham and going ice-skating, then seeing Shrek 3....and sleeping over her house and ordering pizza etc. Tomorrow they are going shopping I think:eek:    DD is using her own money as she took out £30 from her account and still has £32 left

.....I think daddy has given her some on the sly! She has a carers card for the cinema so the person she takes goes in free, so they split the cost of the ticket (£2.50)...so I think £10 will cover eveything as I will send her with popcorn and drinks. Thats what her pocket money is for though I suppose:rotfl:
WM is on, DW needs emptying and toilet has been scrubbed. I am on a mission ATM to clear as much carp as possible. Giving myself 20mins per day to bin or charity stuff.
Anyway, I must go as I need food and a cuppa.
Breakie-Rice Krispies
Lunch:Baked Spud with tuna salad
Dinner: Creamy Chops, Boiled Spuds, Cauli and carrots
Hugs to all.

Good morning everyone
It's another beautiful sunny day here. Washing is up to date so this will be the day that the kitchen floor is scrubbed as I like to leave the back door open to let it dry.
DS and DD phoned last night. They are having a ball in Scotland and, as predicted, they are being spoilt rotten. They are off to the science park in Glasgow today so I'm sure they will have a tale or two to tell later.
W**k today and I expect that I will work another couple of hours overtime. Don't mind though as it all means less to do when boss goes away on holiday next week. I always get a bit panicky for the first few days that he is away as I am wholly responsible for the office then. This year though he has installed a skype phone in his holiday home and one in the office and he is taking his laptop so we will be able to communicate most days.
Breakfast is boiled egg and toast.
Lunch is egg mayonnaise sandwiches (I forgot to cook some chicken yesterday for me sarnies) and fruit salad.
Dinner is chicken curry with rice and naan bread.
Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning everyone,
didn't sleep that great. Been sleeping over 8 hours but still knackered! OH slept too well as he woke up half an hour late and then came back after getting to the end of the street as he left his pass behind - oh dear.
His birthday baked alaska went quite well (I think) OH thought all the meringue around it would crisp all the way through - I said it wouldn't, that only the outside would brown and go crisp - is that right? It's only in the oven <5mins so I can't see how it's supposed to be crisp but then as I've never eaten it before, I'm only guessing
I also decided 40mins before our visitors arrived last night that as we don't have birthday cake, I should make some fairy cakes. OH thought I was mad. I was just finishing off icing them when people started arriving. I had to give the recipe for his OH's Sister so she could make them for OH's nephew. She normally buys ready made packets/meals for everything. I was sure to let his nephew know that his mummy has the recipe and he's to make sure she makes some cakes with him. Oh, I am wicked. :rotfl:
Had a nightmare yesterday as I've lost the keyfob that lets me access work stuff from home. I've searched eveywhere as as I have little junk, it wasn't too difficult, but I can't find it anywhere. I've ordered a new one but until it arrives, I have to trek into the office every day! It's only 4 miles but means I can't really out washing out as the rain is too frequent
[STRIKE]Today, must do some washing after work[/STRIKE], [strike]sort out the banking for the bills coming out tomorrow [/strike], [strike]do my clicks on pigsback from yesterday[/strike], [strike]sort travel insurance for holiday in Sept[/strike] [strike]and hoover the upstairs[/strike], anything else is a bonus.
Have a good day everyone.Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
Morning everyone. it feels like years since i've posted on the daily thread. i don't know what happened i kinda feel like i'm letting things really slip at mo. so i'm trying to get back on board and really organise myself. i think it mainly to do with , had a bit more money so not been worrying about sticking to budgets , daughter not at nursery don't don't need to get up or out house by certain time, had a bit of rough time with things so hubby and i had alot of takeaways as i couldn't think about cooking. etc etc etc.
But anyway i trying to get things sorted so here i am.
Dishwasher is on , washing machine is nearly finished then it going on line. gorgeous day out. even tho it a bit cold. got pile of iorning i want to start to do before kids wakes up. then got bit of lawn to finish cutting. didn't get it alldone yesterday as had to take 2 of my cats to vet's. £227!!!!. oh well it onyl once a year and £36 of that was to get them chipped.
got hoovering to do and need to make some biscuits for my daughters bedtime treat. she is 3 and we have got her finally off having a bottle at night. so before bed she has a cup of milk and a hm biscuit to dunk in it. it has worked a treat she not even asked for a bottle. next challenge is to break my 2 yr old son of the habit. so he trys to wind his sister up with it.
unsure about tea tonight as i have tesco coming between 1-3 so don't know weather to do chinese pork and beansprouts or hm fishfingers and wedges. depending on when tesco comes as i have no pot's. maybe a rice dish.
breakie is tho cereal or toast. depending on what kids fancy.
lunch i have a thing for draiylee sandwiches. so kids ahev sandwichs , yog and piece of fruit or 2.
sorry for whittering on.
Enjoy ur day everyone.
