Thanks InazumaHow are you getting along with it?
I am doing quite well, have lost 3lbs week one and 2lbs week two so pretty pleased.
I was interested to read the order in which you cut things out, it's obviously working well. Onwards and upwards then! (downwards?!!)0 -
Hardest day so far. I was on a training course all day and sweets and chocolates were being liberally passed round by the facilitator. I only resisted once and that was just before lunch time when I was feeling hungry. I am going to make sure I take more snacks with me tomorrow. also had a very very small piece of my son's left over birthday cake. Luckily it is almost finished so I will leave the rest for my son to eat.GC: Feb (16th Jan - 15th Feb) £46.25 / £50

I hate going to training events or conferences with my company - caterers just seem to do unhealthy food!0 -

Anyone else doing/done this? Or anyone want to join me in doing it?
My challenge this time is cutting down on fructose while not depriving my lovely DH of his sweet treats!March 2020 grocery challenge $921.76/$500AU

This is the start of my fourth week and I am struggling a little now, really just want a biscuit with my tea, or some dried fruit. Rest of family had cheesecake at the weekend and I nearly caved in. So pleased with my weight loss tho - have to keep reminding myself what a mess one biscuit would start!0

Thanks for your support, how is it going for you now?
I seem to get stuck in a food-rut really easily, then I'm stuck, bored - eggs are my ugh food now, just had too many. What do you have for breakfast?0 -

Can you do Mireille Guiliano (French women don't get fat) three bites thing? I find that useful - apparently you get most pleasure from the first three bites of something, so just have that. I am nearly a year into no sugar, but i every now and again have "just a taste" of something. Usually i find that it is too sweet!I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
I am going to have a go at a LCHF diet.
And cut out as much sugar/sweeteners as I can. but like someone else said I have stuff to in the house. So will use it to get rid of.
I have two carrier bags of stuff to give away from the cupboards. Mainly sugar laded carp.
I drink squash a lot. What are the alternatives as I do like water. But its nice to to take the edge off of plain water.

Could you do something based around avocado. Maybe add some nuts or raw veggies.
Or what about greek yoghurt topped with nuts or berries?
I'm still plodding on in my small way. Have had a mixed time since last posting. I have totally cut out sugary snacks and drinks. Instead I have had fruit, oat cakes / rice cakes with cream cheese or chicken etc. When out I have been drinking fruit tea (helps with the sugar craving) or sparkling water.
I have been feeling really hungry since the weekend. I did wonder whether it was my body reacting to having less sugar. I think though I either don't eat enough at meal times and or I have too big gaps between meals. The net result of which is that by mid afternoon I really crave the sweet stuff. It also meant that whilst out with friends the other day I caved and had a pudding. I am now making a concerted effort to eat more regularly in the hope that it will help.GC: Feb (16th Jan - 15th Feb) £46.25 / £50
