Let them deal with it, but personally I don't see how it's an issue unless the route includes going through a den of wolves, up a cliff face and by-passing an ogre's cave.
  • Is there a known child sex offender living by? If so, how did you find out about this? Does the mother know there is a known child sex offender living by?
People are saying it's safe to let a child walk to school but what worries me is that the council or the police won't tell you that you have a sex offender living in the area.

So how many of you would let your child walk to school if a known !!!!!phile was living by.

So is there one or are you just grasping at straws OP?

Again how far is this walk from her house to the bus stop?

  • The OP once thought it was a good idea to put her baby daughter on her lap whilst on an adult fairground ride with a belt around them both.

Child safety is obviously not a priority for this one!

One of the council workers slipped up so they had to move him out.

You can't compare the world 40 years ago to the world today and it's not acceptable for a 7 year old to spend several hours on their own at home, making a sandwich etc like has been suggested on this thread.

Why not? What's changed in the last 40 years?

There's now less deaths from traffic accidents (the real danger). And hopefully(!) less bad people on tv.

    So he's not there anymore?

Is there another !!!!!phile living close by?

If there isn't, can you explain what danger you believe this girl to be in?

You were asked this yesterday and - despite responding to later posts - you have so far not answered it:

How far does she have to walk and what is the route like?

Answer the question so that posters can consider the level of risk you believe this girl to be in.
