    As others have said this use to be common place. I use to walk to school on my own at that age. What are you expecting the council to do? I don't see anything wrong with it myself.

    Obviously he's not that concerned. Would rather cause hassle for the family then take the common sense approach. (Not that I think the mother needs talking to)

    Is there a known child sex offender living by? If so, how did you find out about this? Does the mother know there is a known child sex offender living by?
