Tete, it's a Lond process. Leo died 3,5 years ago and the inheritance got sorted out in about 2 years. It was just taking so long. Get a solicitor so don't need to stress yourself so much. X0

I think you're lucky that you weren't familiar with the process Tete, means you've not had to do it before! I actually wouldn't know what to do if anything happened to a family member. Have you been left everything by your Dad?
Well done on losing a stone too! When is your next half marathon?
Well I did lose my mam seven years ago, but she didn't have a house so I didn't need to go through probate. Yeah well there's only me so I've got everything. Hopefully that'll simplify things.
Jeesus Kavics, two years! That must have been hard going. I think my situation is a little less complicated than yours though so fingers crossed it won't be that long. Definitely going to see a solicitor on Wed, I feel so bad that my poor aunt has been lumbered with it all
Next half marathon is Sunday, just a run locally to make up for the race I missed in October. Then last one is 13th December. Will be glad when they're done with TBH!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Thanks everyone, hope she feels better soon as so tired.
Hope it gets sorted as quickly and stress free as possible Tete.0 -
What a faff, Tete! You'd think considering the heart ache people go through that they'd have some things in place to make it easier, not harder? My Sister works in pensions and gets so frustrated with some aspects of it when it comes to having to do things "big the book". A solicitor sounds like the best option, much less stress for you and that's what you need right now
Good luck with the half marathon!
Had my 28 week check up today and kiddo is still two weeks ahead! Still have this weird feeling he'll go overdue by two weeks so I might birth a 3 month old. Only thing is, is that 2 weeks overdue makes him a leap year baby and that's just confusing!0 -
Glad all is ok. I measured bang on with Heidi and she came out big . My sil measured big and had a 6 lber so I wouldn't worry too much. Leap year baby would be confusing but interesting!0

Anyway, that's on the back burner for now (despite the fact I feel like Eskimo Nell here) - trotted along to the bank where the mortgage is, death certificate in hand, expecting them to hand it over, but nope. Because my aunty is named as the executioner they won't deal with me! Turns out things are more complicated than I anticipated so we're going to get a solicitor in to do it all for us. I feel marginally less stressed knowing that she has to help me now, although I'm disappointed it's obviously going to drag on. Can't believe I thought it would all be sorted by the time I go back to work in December! So naive! :rotfl:
Thanksgiving meal sounds lovely, though I am doing my best with Slimming World. I'm a stone down but have hit a bit of a plateau. Maybe once I start running again...
Hope Heidi is better soon, sounds horrible
Sounds stressful Tete. glad there is a professional helping you with it.
I'm in Slimming World as well. I'm 1lb off target and it doesn#t seem to be shifting this weekGive yourself a break, 1 stone is loads to lose and you've been through such a horrendous tough time.

Hope Heidi is better soon. My niece had it last week and her sister and my sister had chest infections. It wiped them out completely.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Fastest pregnancy ever Cinny! How are you feeling?
I wouldn't worry too much about being a couple of weeks ahead. I measured 3 weeks behind in both of my pregnancies and Max was 7lb 15ozs and Evie was 6lb 13ozs so hardly tiny babies. I don't think they have a clue!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I measured 3 weeks behind and mini Kavics was 8lb 1 born on 39th week.0

Heidi was born at 39 weeks and weighed 8lb 10. The midwife asked where I was hiding her lol. She must have been really curled up as she is long. I measured same with Poppy all along and was born at 39+6 and was 7lb 5 so very average.
Thanks CMD she seems to have perked up a little today so fingers crossed she is on the mend.0
