That's awesome, ROTE
I think it sounds like you did a great job bridging the gap between employment! And there's nothing to stop you looking for another job if this receptionist one isn't 100% what you want. Hope you have a nice Christmas!
How is everyone? How's the decluttering before Christmas going? I think we've actually done it?! Only have our storage room left to sort and that's it! Everything that's in there are things that we are keeping, but it's just a blummin' mess that needs organising
Getting into the Christmas spirit now! Went to see Krampus on Saturday, which has scared me into it tbf. Also inhaling half a stollen loaf might have had something to do with it? Have all the presents that have arrived wrapped and under the tree, just waiting on a few for OH and I need to pick something up for my Brother's Girlfriend as she can't make the Christmas meal next Sunday. And that's me done!
For anyone marveling at the superquickness of my pregnancy, I'm 30 weeks today!0 -
Congratulations on the job ROTE!
We are doing good. Endless colds with the kids but suviving. Done 95% of Christmas shopping and wrapped all the girls presents. Need to buy more paper for nieces and nephews. Poppy has a busy last week at school next week with party, nativity and concert and Christmas dinner.
30 weeks! How has that happened.0 -

Well done on the decluttering! I haven't decluttered at all and have loads of stuff to go to the charity shop. Will also have to get a mini skip after Christmas to get rid of loads of junk before we move house. This is our opportunity now to offload loads of stuff. Defo don't want to be bringing it with us!

I hear you with the colds Wendz. Evie had been awake half the night with a cough. It disappears during the day! 95% of my shopping is done and wrapped too. It's a great feeling isn't it?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

It's only min wage at the moment but I am so please to have a job and to be getting some money coming in. Things have been really tight but it has only been this week that we have had to use the overdraft. It is a really ego boost as I actually thought no one else would want me. So I am going to try and live as tight as we have been and then throw as much as we can at the credit cards.

Great news about the job ROTE! Glad things are looking up :T
Hope the poorly coughy babies are better soon.
Cinny, that must be a typo, how are you 30 weeks already?! So exciting!
We went to a friend's little boy's 2nd birthday party on Sunday and it hit me that before long we'll be celebrating Zach's birthday and that makes my head hurt. What's happened to my baby?! He's finally started speaking a little more now and his favourite thing to say (all. the. time.) is 'Oh dear!'We were reading The Gruffalo last night and he was pointing out the 'Owwwwwwwwwwwl' and the 'Sssssssssssssssnk'
I am ignoring the decluttering conversation as I haven't done any, to my shame!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Thanks ladies, I actually start tomorrow as it has been closed due to the floods. So no doubt it will be wellies and a mop rather than a telephone and computer but I am so excited. It will be nice just to be earning some money.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳

Great news on the job ROTE.
Okay, I know I ask you guys to follow a lot of things, but new facebook page and I'd love some likes, some cheers and support from the threadies and the lurkers please. This is something very close to my heart, I'm looking to run 4 x half marathons and 11 x 10k next year to raise money for the hospital ward where Grace spent the first 101 days of her life. In total I'm running 101 miles. Even if you're skint, please give me support in another way - follow the page and give 2 minutes a month to tell me I can do it, to cheer me on virtually, or if I'm running near you come outside and yell as I plod past.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
