Thanks again everyone
Had the first day of an opposite surname problem, went to put down my new name and had to correct myself to use my maiden name as it was worked related and getting married in December means everything's slow on the uptake :rotfl:
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Ours was lovely although we've barely stopped - I had a little cry as I was walking around Asda on Monday after we'd been out for another full day because I was just so tired (and also hungry) I thought I was doing a dignified silent cry, but DH sent me to sit in the car:o
Having one last wardrobe clear out before the new year. I figure as I can't wear most of my clothes at the moment I can be a lot more subjective to what I do/don't keep. Have a trip to the tip tomorrow so I'm going to be brutal while I know I'll be near a clothes bank.
Hope everyone has a good new years!!0 -
Happy New Year everyone. I presume we're all brimming with resolutions and new goals for the year? One of mine is to write on here more, and certainly to clear the debt this year, which sort of go hand in hand.
Another of my resolutions is to bite the bullet and publish my first ebook. Which is written, needs one more read through and a cover designing then it can go out. But I need a name and I'm stuck. Anyone have any ideas? It's about my first pregnancy. I was going to go with 'diary of a complicated pregnancy' but I just discovered someone already used that. 'The journey of amazing grace '. I am rubbish at thinking of names.
Looking forward to seeing you write on here more Dinah.
My resolutions are to do a small treat for myself each month but I also need to keep on top of money as still not exactly sure what budget will be like when I return to work in April. At least they aren't cutting the tax credits.0 -
Happy New Year everyone!
Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. We had a lovely time, interspersed with lazy days and a combination of looking for furniture for our new house!
My resolution is to learn to drive. I need to with the new house anyway. If I can put the same motivation into driving as I did with losing weight in 2015 then I'll fly it! I also want to get rid of all the debts by the end of 2016 as well, we have some Irish ones now too so would be lovely to enter into 2017 debt free!

Thankfully Poppy is at school and Heidi is pretty easy as she doesn't move yet! Their dad should be popping round for a bit before his night shift later.0

Mine went back to school today. I am glad to get back into the routine of things. They seemed quite content heading off too!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yes I think Poppy needs the routine as her behaviour was starting to go downhill. The weather doesn't help as she couldn't run off steam outside.0
