  • Morning all,

Dinah - hope you are okay. I saw NIM posted up about you bring in hospital but I saw you posted something yesterday so I figured out you must be on the mend. Sending a speedy get well soon to you!

Had a very busy weekend. Max had GAA (football & hurling) on Saturday morning and then went straight to a party. We brought Evie to a play development centre which was fab but freezing. Am thinking of having it for Max's birthday but hope they sort the heating out!

Saturday afternoon and evening we spent packing and got rid of 5 charity bags (well my mother took them off in her car!). Still lots more to do but we are properly decluttering as opposed to doing a last minute panic pack and stuffing random rubbish into a box!

Yesterday I brought the kids to the cinema and went up to my Mam's for the afternoon :)

Thanks Wendz, plenty more to do, but I'm happy with what we've done so far :)

Sounds like everyone had productive weekends!! I mostly waddled, nested and slept :o

Sure you'll have a great little break, Zig! How long are you going for? Hope you found another hotel, hate it when things like that happen but at least it shows the MSE part of your noodle is still switched on.

Loving all the savings Birdie! :money: And thanks for thinking of us, Zach is always dressed like a little peach so I'm all excited now. Your post reminds me to call the council tax people, we're on 12 months of payments atm but I keep meaning to have them switch us to 10 so we get those magical 2 months we feel richer :p Cutting household bills is the best!

Having an oddly quiet day today. My Dad has started taking Ryder to work with him, he says it's to "help me" but I heard him refer to Ryder as his dog so I'm worried he's trying to steal him.. OH is away in Swansea for meetings too which means I'm actually in the house 100% alone and it feels so unnatural! I know I should enjoy it and put my feet up, but I'm really struggling to get out of that "work" mentality. I feel like between waking up and 6pm I should be busy :o:o

Have my 36 week appointment later so at least that's something to do. Can't believe I'm classed as full term on Monday?! Have everything packed ready to go, car is getting properly valeted at the start of Feb, I've been to all the classes I'm meant to have gone to (which featured more knitted body parts than I expected). Can't believe how quickly it's all gone.

36 weeks, Wowzers. Definitely feels like it has gone fast. So exciting could be anytime now!

I was going to use the extra money from no council tax for Poppy's birthday party but now she says she just wants to do something with two best friends so will be cheaper!

I have sorted my return to work date out for the beginning of April. Got quite a bit of holiday left from last year so will get most of March paid before I return which is good. Meeting a potential childminder next week.

I can't get my head around how quickly your pregnancy has flown by Cinny! It could be 2 weeks now.... or 6! :p Enjoy the time to yourself when you don't have to do anything other than a beached whale impression!

Your maternity leave has flown by too Wendz! How do you feel about going back to work?

Payday today so I'm happy! :j Just trying to decide if I neeeeed some 'bargain' boots or not....??

I'm actually looking to it in a way, be nice to have more adult conversation etc again ! A bit nervous about leaving Heidi but I'm sure she will be fine.

I do like the boots but not encouraging spending hehe.

I can't quite believe it either! Really ready for him to be here now but I don't really have any say in when that will actually be :o:o

Can't believe you're almost back to work, Wendz! Hope you manage to find someone you're happy leaving her with :)

Happy Payday Birdie :j Not to encourage spending either but I do love those boots :o Can never really go wrong with a "goes with everything" shoe. I have a pair similar from Topshop that I got about 4 years ago and I still get compliments when I haul them out every Autumn - but I am the kind of person that wears shoes until they're falling apart :p Currently debating re-buying some Clarks penny loafers for when it's warmer while they're cheap and "out of season"

I have managed to find a 15% off code so it brings the price down even more.... ;)
