Love this thread, it is making me chuckle.

For me, anything with a selfie, any alchohol or anything being given by an alchohol producer (I hate alchohol). Afternoon teas, in fact anything to do with tea (a part from that clipper tea carosel ;) lol). Baby things! Usually anything that is aimed at disabled/elderly/kids as well. Family holidays, anything to do with a horse or a dog and honeymoons. Also health supplements and gym memberships and detox.

Oh and new kitchen and bathrooms or carpets, don't feel there is a lot of point when we live in a rented house and will probably move in a few years!

Also fishing paraphernalia although I do enter for the odd rod that might be worth over £200 same as cricket bats..

I don't enter for minimoons either, can someone explain to me what a minimoon is?

I am guessing it is half a holiday to see if you like your husband/wife to be before the official one :rotfl:

I thought it had something to do with a builders bum...

Personally, I don't feel comfortable entering competitions that are obviously aimed at someone older/not me! Therefore I don't enter:
Baby competitions (unless I happen to have a pregnant close relative at the time)
Over 50's (at least not for a few more years)
    Gransnet
I don't enter competitions that winning would include me attending an event that I wouldn't choose to attend (if that makes sense!)
I don't enter competitions for tickets to events that I wouldn't personally attend - music festivals etc.
I don't enter competitions for hobbies that I have no interest in - such as fishing or football. (having said that, I just remembered that I did win a football for my daughter earlier in the year, when she was keen to start playing!!!)
I don't really have many ethics when it comes to the companies running the competitions - other than the fact that I wouldn't enter a competition to win something that included real fur, other than that, I tend to see most other competitions as fair game.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
