    Scenario-

You're travelling home in your car and are 100 miles away. It's past midnight and a fellow road user informs you that you have a headlight out.

    What do you do?

Hope the police don't spot you, because you don't have a spare bulb anyway. ;)

Given how unfriendly changing the bulbs can be in some modern cars I think £6.99 is quite reasonable.

Used to be it was a two minute, occasionally slightly fiddly, job. Now on some models you have to take half the car apart just to get to the things.

To be fair to them they do normally have the charges listed on the 'we fit it' signs too.

I suppose I could ring the RAC since I am member but they would probably charge more than Halfords. :D

So I think I would just carry on with my journey and hope I am not pulled until I could get it replaced the next day.

But once again I ask you to please elaborate on how you would replace it.

Or a toolset in the back of my car. :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • having just watched a video on how to change the bulb on my car (renault megane) I will happily pay halfords £20 for the pleasure of them doing it :)
when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.
