Morning all. Not looking at lists yet but have caught up on Fred. DW on, WM on. DD's bed stripped, DS's bed stripped. DH still in our bed and won't strip it.
I know I have ironing to do later but can do this evening if needs be.
Think I will be flying all day, DD has a sleep on board for Drill comp this weekend so will need to help her pack too.

Off to breakfast as been awake since 1.30 then fell asleep just before getting up time.
Have a good day everyone.xJuly 16 £95/£200

YORKSHIRELASS wrote: »Oh and Wendy you are right with your girls and their bedrooms. This is one thing my two are fairly good about, even if they do nothing else. I once did get a bin bag and removed everything from their bedroom floors into the shed (they thought it had gone in the bin!).
I've done this before when they were younger, about 4 black sacks  stuck them in the attic. Two weeks later it looked like I hadn't bothered!!:(
In those days it was mainly toys, now it's clothes (clean & dirty), books, paperwork, shoes & make up
Anyway, DD2 worked really hard in there and it'll be finished tonight. It was harder for DD1 as she didn't finish work til 6 but progress was made.
Today I MUST get the stuff to the charity shop, do at least 1 load of dark washing. I had empty bins til DD2 tidied now the dark bin is full! I need to wash her black trousers as she has her first job interview on Saturday

Morning all
Thanks for the hugs feeling a bit calmer this morning. Managed to not take on much work for the street party.
I need to do a HHC now and then off to pilates, and probably pub for a cuppa afterwards and then stop in and Mr L on the way back.
See you all at lunchtime. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all.
Not going to be a brilliant day today, hubby is at a funeral, old guy at other end of village, and seems as though he's born and bred here, he knows everyone and feels obliged to go them all. I've only lived here 16 years so still relatively a newbie haha.
I am however working at the wake, as I volunteer at the village hall.
So going to try a hours walk after dropping boys off at school, as my weight isn't shifting and I am being fairly good, need to up my game.
Decided todays room is going to be my DD's, she's hardly here these days, but her room is by far the worst, have already stripped bed and put in wm. Hoping when she gets back from her bf's later this morning before work, she might do a bit more. hahahahahaha that will so not happen!
Will also give boys rooms a quick dust and hoover as these are still tidy, just to keep on top of them.
Will pop in later if I haven't been eaten alive in DD's room.Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

Having a bit of an odd week here - DD2 and her boyfriend are away in Derby for his graduation. I managed to watch the ceremony online. His mum has booked them tickets to the graduation ball which is tonight so they have had a nice break.
work has been a bit pants.... The boss is moving on at Easter and there are signs that the deputy is flexing her muscles... but not in a good way. Not sure I'd want to work there if she gets the job. I don't have kids there anymore, but feel some anxiety that she has never taught anywhere else...
TBH I am struggling with the black dog snapping around my heels. I talk to mum most days and it's almost as though she can't wait to get off the phone most days.... it's very upsetting if I'm honest!
Due to the actions of the aforementioned deputy head at work my work hours have reduced by 15 minutes a day. I am actually quite relieved.
Having had breakfast and an extremely large cuppa I am now heading into DD2's bedroom in an attempt to find the floor.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Morning All :hello:
Lie in this morning as DD3 is at her auntie's house. I'm very tired, but will get on with the usuals - WM, DW, TD, Kitchen S&S. I'll also dust my bedroom which is quite frankly revolting.
Osteopath at midday, looking forward to that as my neck is awful atm.
Oooo excitingly OH bought the NutriNinja yesterday. It's as good as the hype. Much, much better than a blender. I even managed to sneak in some calories for DD2 who is causing me a little concern as she's barely eating and has lost a lot of weight. I made her a banana & chocolate milkshake ( on the basis that I was excited to use the machine)
Think I'll try and energise myself with a green mix of some sort :j

I have just done on top of the kitchen cupboards. Last year, you may remember, I used lining paper as I couldn't find a spare roll of wrapping paper. I'm converted! Usually, the grease and dust collects on top of the wrapping paper making it quite an unpleasant task. With the lining paper, it absorbs the grease and there didn't appear to be any dust at all! I have replaced it all with new lining paper. I have had to stick it down with brown parcel tape todayas I couldn't find the clear tape. Never mind.
Right, what's next?!
HHC ANYONE? 10am, GO!
Well that was an experience! Kids rooms are disgusting. I'm so p'd off with DD. I tidy her room and rearrange her drawers. Everything is folded and put neatly in the drawers. Yet every single time I open up her drawers, it's like a blo... tornado has been through there. It's not difficult to just pick up 1 item that you want/need is it?
I'm getting really naffed off with the dog. She steals constantly. My carpets are filthy because she has dug up the lawn and then just runs through the house. My back garden is covered in urgh because nobody picks it up (not her fault) and she's now sleeping lovingly next to me. Hmm, can't be too mad then can I?!
