Rang them today. They had no problems with me being in England but unfortunately failed on electronic id verification. They did say they Equifax for id check.

Not on electoral roll.


Address mismatch, even slight ones such as County included in address for some accounts and not for others, although the main issues are around flat numbers etc, ie the banks report a different address than the council does when they submit the ER data file.

Don't no. I never failed on electronic id check with any other banks. Will try them one more time.

Just checked my Equifax credit report - It showed a search for First Trust (Identity Check to comply with Anti Money Laundering Regulations).

Now the reason I failed the Id check because they inputted my name incorrectly. They put Q at the end rather than B.

Will try them again tomorrow.

The search is showing on my Equifax online report with incorrect spelling of my name.
