Illegal number plate - who can fix this?

Did you notice he has 100% positive feedback of nearly 20,000 transactions?

Did you notice he is a business seller with full address given in a business park / industrial estate?

He also quotes his VAT number.

I'm sure that ebay has a load of 'dodgy' sellers - but this example is unlikely to be one of them.

I'm not saying it's a front for a criminal activity, but the NE21 postcode on the plates point to a residential cul-de-sac in Blaydon-on-Tyne.

Are you sure?

I also googled the address last year before I bought my plates from that seller.

I've just checked and the result I get is definitely a complex of small industrial units.

He probably is knocking them out in a shed or back bedroom, however with 20,000 positive feedback I'd be surprised if it was organised crime or a DSS fiddle.

Wasn't one of these backroom/shed plate makers busted a year or so ago for doing exactly what this eBay seller is doing?

On the other hand, I bought a set of eBay "legal" plates from another seller a few years ago for my old car. Went by the name of DJH Numberplates but looks like they no longer sell on eBay. Maybe that was the one that got busted.

if you enter the postcode in that website it shows that he is a DVLA approved supplier but is bending the rules by selling plates without checking documents
