    Yes agreed good plan.

Only tried the cauli stuff once and it was disastrous. Any tips?

Am away with work quite a bit this month. Hard to get organised as no refrigeration etc. Carbs are the staller! Tesco have atkins bars on offer so am going to try them.

Hoping to loose a stone in next month.

  • Egg fried cauli rice - one large portion

Remove thick stalk and the leaves and grate half a medium cauli - florets and most of the small stalks.
spray a non stick frying pan or wok with a few sprays of oil and scramble 1 egg until well cooked. Remove and stir fry some chopped spring onion and sliced mushrooms or peppers if wanted.
Add the grated cauli and keep moving it around. Add some frozen peas, and seasoning to taste - e.g. salt and pepper, Chinese five spice, soy sauce, oyster sauce. Add a couple of tablespoons of boiling water to create a bit of steam (mainly to ensure the peas are cooked) and put the scrambled egg back in. Keep turning over for a couple more minutes until all combined and liquid all evaporated.

Hiya CWR that looks good, I am going to make it tomorrow. I am eating a lot of home made roast tomato soup at the minute which is lovely.

I used to count days on the diet but lost track over the summer so now I am on a countdown to what I can achieve by the end of the year.

115 days to go or sixteen weeks I really want to get to over 70lbs this year, then next year I will be looking at the final 70 and keeping the weight off. And that is the first time on this thread that I have admitted that I need to lose more than 100lbs, I never said that I "only" needed to lose 100lbs really it was 140 but that seemed a ridiculously large total to admit, and was never doable in a year. Now I know that I can do it and that I will but it will take me all of 2016 too. Interestingly I am achingly close to that 100lbs to go total which is why I decided to admit my real total - I am nearly at the real 100lbs to go total. I think that I will be there by Friday.

So I need to get back to how I was at the begining of this challenge to meet my new goal. Off we go! Again.....
  • I aim to lose 135lb tootallulah - at the rate I'm going, it could take me into 2017 even but I'm happy with that.

I have just bought myself some decent running shoes and a sports bra  and now the evenings are drawing in and people will have their curtains drawn, I plan to go out and start by fast walking and hopefully/eventually progress to some jogging (will have to see how the knees hold out). I used to be a pretty good middle distance and cross country runner in my youth and always loved it. I have long been jealous seeing women out running, whilst criticising their running style (of course!).

I do love my cauli rice, I grate it in bulk, portion it up and freeze, ready for a quick meal.

Hi all, gained a pound - I just couldn't stop eating last week. Glad I did plenty of walking, or it would have been worse!

I lost 5lb last week but wouldn't be surprised if I end up putting it back on this week. I'm in the process of moving at the moment so it's freezer-bingo dinners when we're actually there to cook and grabbing stuff on the go when we're not. I reckon we should be fully moved by the end of next week though and then I can start meal planning properly again.

Good luck with the move Izador, it is one of those things "that will be worth it is the end". I have had a terible two days of eating, I need to refocus.

I am already dreading winter, I need to do interesting things to break it up. I have a sewing week-end planned in October and am going to look for a week-end away in November. I have just taken on some new work in London two days a week until Christmas..................why on earth did I do that? To pay for treats of course! or possibly to refocus on paying off the mortgage.
  • I got my 50lb certificate tonight - well it was actually 52 and a 1/2! I'm really pleased and relieved as it was a hurdle I have been wanting to get to for a while. Next goal - my 20%

  • Morning

CWR that rice dish looks lush, am going to try this week. Do you freeze the cauli raw? Congratulations on the certificate. Way to go :).

T it doesn't matter what we want to loose as long as it is going in the right direction.

JPs hopefully it will be back off soon. Well don't on the walking.

Iz I yo yo all the time. Not been great last few days myself, I need a good slap.

Here's to a good week for us all
