Great post tootallulah! Forward is the only road, whether it's in great strides sometimes or crawling on hands and knees for a bit, as we've come too far to turn back now!

I stayed the same weigh-wise, this week. Which was not unexpected given a few too many 'treats' over the bank holiday and the week from hell at work preceding that, but it was a kick up the bum I needed to get going again as there's only 4 weeks before I go away with my 2 friends for a long weekend and I want to have reached the 3st lost by then. I anticipate a gain of a few pounds that weekend but so need a break from work and to laugh like a loon and get rather drunk!

Trying to sort out 3 different fancy dress outfits for it atm, already have some stuff and I know I've got some camouflage trousers (from a previous hen do) in a bin bag somewhere, probably the attic knowing my luck, so am reluctant to buy anymore until I know whether those ones fit or not. I have a vague hope that they are too big now! Difficult to decide on themes when we've got a very tall person, a very short person and me in the middle height-wise but a much larger shape than the other two!!
    Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
    And now the final frame
    Love is a losing game

Day 142, 44 points. Morning CWR I hope you have sorted out the fancy dress, not long to your holiday now. Indeed we may be running or sometimes crawling but we have still come a bloody long way and there is no going back. I really hope the combats are too big, such a lovely feeling.

Morning pottering in the greenhouse I think. My big task for this week is tiny but significant. I am trying to go two weeks only buying fruit and veg and not much of either. I have two freezers full to bursting, and I scored 10 pints of milk at 10p each in Waitrose so there is no need for food shopping. I need to clear down the freezers ready for my summer crops of currants, strawberries, gooseberries and tomatoes which will be rolling on soon if ever we get the sun to help them. The currants and gooseberries both look like a bumper year. Summer is such a delight.

Day 143, 39 points. I have just weighed myself and I have lost a very annoying 1lb on a week with no cheating. I had better have a good weight loss this week! Off to work early as I am finishing at 13.00. Glorious morning.

OK I have got over that slight grump, 1st June today 4 weeks to the half way point, I am hoping to lose at least 10 lbs to be in touching distance of my target, 50lbs. I think the key is eat more fish, we shall see.

I'm glad you've got over feeling bad about it as a pound is still a pound and it's another step closer to your final target.

I had another not very good week as I've been really tired and reaching for quick and easy dinners and was out with friends Saturday, which involved cake and vast quantities of wine. As much as I would've liked to have lost some more weight before holiday I now fit comfortably into my summer clothes so I'm happy with that. I'll try to be good this week, enjoy my two weeks on holiday and then get back to it when I get home.

Hello all thank you so much for sharing your journeys and for encouraging each other and me!

I fell off the wagon big time and have gained 8lbs. I'm actually feeling ok about it, because I knew what I was doing and just decided to enjoy it.

I would normally give up at this stage - I've lost a couple of stones many times before, then given up and gained double and kept gaining. I know I can't do that now, and it is interesting to see just how much harm I did in a short time of saying "sod it!"

So... I probably won't be in the 100lbs club this year, but I will keep on doing my best to get as close as I can.

Still rooting for the rest of you too!

Ive been to thengym twice since Saturday and am planning to go 3 times a week if possible. I'm the queen of swerve when it comes to the gym, I will find any excuse not to go but I absolutely love it when I get there. So anyway, I am forcing myself to go now and have the girls at work guilt tripping me if I don't. Effective but harsh.
Foodmwise, I'm doing ok, I am splitting my ww points into 2 higher weekend days and 2 low days, and the rest my normal allowance. It's working cause I can blow out a bit at weekends and don't seem to be dipping into my 46 extra weekly points. So I'll stick to this plan for a while. Will wi Friday and see if it's done any good.
