I bought six eggs yesterday, but they're massive, and I need large ones for the two cakes I'm going to be making...So,I bought large eggs today, and will use the extra large for hard boiled eggs, which I love.
Hmm,not what I'd planned, but I'm a bit of a nervous baker and tend to follow instructions to the letter.
I also bought 2 lots of cottage cheese today.
So,I've got 15.45 francs to last me til Thursday.
It should be ok.I'm not going to need much these next few days.Bananas, maybe carrots. That's it I think.0 -
£30.43 spent today:
£14 in Waitrose where I took advantage of the free paper offer, the 3 for £10 offer on the meat and £6 healthy takeaway. I also had a voucher for the meat, and will get 5% cashback from my bank too.
£13 in Asda, lots of fruit and veg, cat food, bread and lettuce which I Shopitized when I got home, so that was only 9p.
The rest was a spend in Tesco next to the park, where we popped to get refreshments instead of spending in the caf!. Good oh!Keep reading books!

Hiya everyone
Another NSD here for us today.
Had a rather tasty dinner of chicken fillets, which I had marinated in jerk spices, with stir-fry of carrots, onions and beans shoots with added sweet and sour sauce. It was yummy :j
Hope you all have a super Sunday

Hi all,
Unfortunately, exceeded the budget and have spent £289.13 so far this month.
Got to say, it's definitely more difficult than we thought it would be, but we've kept a record of all spends and can see where there's room to improve to meet June's budget.
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend and have a brilliant week ahead!

Hello all,
Couldn't fit in a shopping visit, so I ordered online for delivery. I've had a bad back for about 4 weeks now, and I needed some dog food and some cat food, so thought I'd have it all delivered. I'm not counting the cost of delivery, as it was only £2.50, and I paid it happily, knowing that I was having a mega housework/diy day today. The food element came to £8.33, although I did forget lunchbox drinks. Oh well.
In the past, I would've stressed about that, and bought double to make up for it, but my new mindset says we'll find a way to get through one poxy week without!!
Total for this month now at £45.22, so doing well.

Morning everyone,
Well, unfortunately my tummy pains got worse Monday night and I couldn't eat or drink at all, so ended up in hospital on Tuesday until yesterday mid afternoon. I came home to NO food at all in the house so after a large stock up of fridges, freezers, and cupboards, I spent a grand total of £79.33. I'm hoping this will see us through until at least Saturday so OH can take us in the car and help with the carrying!
Got to do a meal plan today, wrong way round, I know. Hoping it can be done with the items I've already bought. Fingers crossed.
Good luck to all with spends (or no spends) this week. PigletGC Jan £200/£200.78 Feb £250/£156.07
