Having jiggered me maths yesterday and falling prey to the wicked wicked Ice-cream Van that stopped three doors down after we had spent all day in front garden weeding/ planting (£3 for 2 x huge 99s with sauce and sprinkles nom nom) I have 136.50 till 28th!! Still hopeful though as have plenty of stuff in. Just gotta weld me purse shut, cut myself off from all society and shoot the ice cream man and I'm sorted snarf snarf.

I buy ice cream cones from Lidls and save them for when the ice cream man is about... the DD1 gets pocket money to buy herself ice creams etc so I "charge" her 20p lol0 -
Hi everyone.
Can I join in?
I really need to be strict with myself, and get used to earning less.
I have a food budget of 60 francs a week.Part of this sum is used to pay for weekly electrolysis.
I prefer to do a weekly food budget.
This money is just for me.My kitty has her own food budget.
This month my budget runs from Thursday to Thursday.
Thanks.0 -

I've currently got a freezer full of snickers and Mars icecreams ( bought 2 boxes of 6 for £3 at Mr. Ts, won a box in the on pack promotion so got next 2 boxes for 50p- 24 total for 3.50 less than 15p each -bargain) but it's not the ice cream man is it? Was compensation for the achy backs of this morning due to a day turning over flower beds (although they look lovely and ready for some more planting today)
Will spend today as I need a French loaf and mushrooms for tea but that's it I (kinda) promise.
Have a good day all.

Just back from a small top up shop - spent £10.76 between Ald!, Mr T & Icel*nd. Won't be buying any more food until Tuesday next week but hoping won't need much then either but will definitely need some fruit & milk.

Popped into morrisons to get some beer for my brothers birthday. And eu were £10 each or two packs for £16. I won't count the one for my brother but £8 to add to total. I was pleased that I went straight to the beer aisle and didn't look at anything else!Grocery challenge-
