    Today is a no spend day from the grocery challenge

    but I had to visit my son today - he is in prison - so I bought £15 of tokens - 2 cuppas for me one drink and chocie bar for my daughter ad £1.30 change guess where the rest went

    so I have plenty of money left till the next payday 10 days to go and hopefully all I will need it bread fruit and veg :)
    Emergency fund £10,000
    Several categories with savings in
    Cars, house maintenance, birthdays
    Etc I have about 10 categories

    Really happy to be debt free after being a compulsive spender

    Another £5.79 in Mr T on some bits that I forgot yesterday, took sticking to the list a bit too literally and hadn't realised I hadn't put potatoes on there.
  • a nsd today as its a fluffy pj day and I am not leaving the house dressed like this (I need a total chill out day after the stress of yesterday)

    Morning.

    The husband is going to Bookers for washing powder so he will pick up the big pack of chicken breasts while there so a spend today of £20.
    I am going to take that out of next months budget though as I have no more chicken breast meals planned for this month.
    Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
    Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

  • eeking out the very last of the budget now, in theory we have plenty in it's just getting bf to eat what we have in the cupboads. We have a weekend away (bf covers all the food for this as I pay our share of the hotel room) and then March budget starts a week tomorrow - it can't come fast enough!
