Also got some pork belly and beansprouts in to rustle up something yummy for Chinese New Year.

August grocery challenge Budget £150. Spent so far: £109.32. Remaining: £40.680 -
Not posted for a few days, but a better week this week, £38 on T*sco delivery on Tuesday, another £2 on blackberries in S/burys, and ordered an organic veg box and salad box for my Friday delivery from Riverford, so another £31 to add, running total so far this week is £71.
I shall need to order a few things again for the weekend, as we have guests, but not much, so not expecting this to be much more than £30 - £40, will book a T*sco shop for tomorrow.
I am off now to update my signature!Making time for me now. Out with old habits and ideas, and open to change......:j0 -

£10 spent today in Co*p and Al~*i. Bought milk, veg, yogs, quiche, fruit, chocs (not needed, but wanted!!), cereal etc.
Have started to notice what we are getting through quickly each month so will be doubling up in March when doing weekly shops.
Have a great evening.:)Married in 2016. Bought our first home in 2017. Expecting our first baby in November 2017

Lynnejk we have a common GC so for forgotten pack lunches the expense comes out of it, regardless of who buys. That's why I try to stay on top of the pack lunch business. He would forget and Pret would get richer.
£37 spent today, a bag of YS spinach in marks, then fruit, ryvitas, vege sausages, mushrooms, eggs and a big stock up of favourite laundry detergent which was reduced, in MrS. Used a £6 off £40 voucher, got the fruit for free. The sausages were matched against MrA prices (I knew so I bought 4 boxes), got the ryvitas for free (bought them after finishing the first shop, with the price match coupon.
From now I can only buy fresh stuff that is necessary or I will be over budget. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Hi everyone
Slimming World weigh in complete. Not happy at the results but only got myself to blame for being such a little piggy. £6.00 spent yesterday on fruit and veg on Sainsburys leaving me with £36.00 to last me til Wednesday. No major purchases needed so I quietly confident I can bring it in even though I'm back on SW.
Got a few home made sw ready meals in the freezer to see us all through. 2 chilli con carne, a lasagne and meatballs as well other stuff. Going back to my beloved Porridge every morning now as well as it keeps me nice and full.
Had a bit of a result at the slimming world meeting as the run a raffle for 50 p every week and I won it on my first week last night and my prize contained 2 items I would have needed to buy this weekend, potatoes and fry light. Good luck everyone xMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000
