  • No snow here today, but it was a cold North wind, so DH the weatherman advised me.. all i know it was blimming cold! We did two Nat trust places today as we drove past one en route to the first that we didn't realise was there! With the weather being that bit colder, we didn't want to spend too much time walking the grounds.. we did a couple of hours and then stopped for a cuppa and headed off to place No2 stopping at Sains on the way where the shopping came in at £21, so I cam in under budget with the £2 voucher at £19 something..

Had to buy DD an unexpected coat, but they keep wearing their School coats which is the only thick coat they have and if they get filthy which to be fair they do when we are out and about with them running about everywhere and which i encourage, it means I had to get them washed and dried tomorrow!

I'm knackered after my early start, hoping the littlies will sleep after all the exercise and fresh air today!

  • Woke up past 5am, so I suppose that's a lie in!

Cutting sitting back in bed with a cuppa and a snoozing cat, whilst the littlies are watching Thunderbirds with DH, or that might be DH is watching Thunderbirds and the littlies just happen to be with him..

I've decided I have to stay out of shops now till Christmas, it's fatal. Nipping into a supermarket yesterday ended with £6 spent on DD for Christmas and there was me saying to SJ - 'less is more'

Chilled out day to be spent at home, need to make some carrot muffins and a few other bits to freeze for packed lunches.. got a few Christmas crafts as well to do with the kids and a bit of homework for them to finish, books to read, bath and general house tidy up.

That's my Sunday shaping up! Have a good one all..

  • I am like a kid in a sweetie shop and made DH get down all the presents from the attic, locked myself in the bedroom and pulled out everything from under the bed / in the cupboards and sorted them into birthday, santa and Christmas piles. All back in bags sorted ready for packing to commence this week, maybe tonight if I can be bothered, but I've got two nights of Celeb to catch up on!

I can't find the book for their Christmas eve box anywhere.. so frustrated as I know I've got it, but I can't find it anywhere.. grrrr

Apart from that, a nice family day doing bits and pieces.... 16 working days for me and counting until the end of term....

  • Can't quite believe the other £15 cashback tracked so I got £30 for nothing.. another 73p tracked so will withdraw what I can to Am@zon vouchers and the rest to cash. Just waiting for the new bank details to be verified so I can set the withdrawal in motion. Stuck with H@lifax at the mo as the other application was turned down, can only think I've done too many cc searches lately with all the bank and CC transfers.

50p nabbed on Youg0v this morning..

Waiting for the mortgage balance to be updated in the next few days so I know where we are with that and if we achieved our 2015 target a month early.

    Have a good day all.

  • Congrats on the free cashback. :) We have an outstanding cashback balance that may or may not track (bought the wrong dishwasher and then bought the right one, so waiting to see if they'll cancel the first cashback). Would be nice if it went through.

Hoping your mortgage balance comes through soon. :)
  • Rubbish day at work..

Got home and withdrew the £30.73 all to cash, so await that arriving. Also credits cleared on p-base so £11.85 withdrew to cash and £12.95 refunded to paypal for one of the free cashback thingys I cancelled, but that is going back in my pot!

30p nabbed tonight on 1-poll and a few p-base surveys sitting there for when the littlies are in bed..

Hoping for a better day tomorrow, got a pressurised day in terms of being reviewed for a bit part of my job!
