  • Kids were wired yesterday after too much party food, but it did lead to a post 5am wake up - yey. lie in!

Due to a relationship ending, I had a Am@zon gift card that was supposed to be a Christmas present so I've added this to my account and bought DH's Christmas present, but also got an lego type advent calendar for little boy that was £7. Was wanting to get them these types of advent calendars, but they are so many pennies and didn't feel I could justify them, but woke up this mortgage to a massive reduction in a Frozen one for less than a tenner, so reserved that at @rgos.

Means I had some left over from the gift card and Am@zon balance stands at £17.16. Really going to try to get as many presents as possible next year through Amazon from cashback and survey proceeds and from Mr T through clubcard boosts.

So off to town today to collect one Advent calendar and go the garden centre to look at the Christmas displays - I am so getting into Christmas can you tell?

I reckon I am nearly done, unless work decides to do a secret santa.. just a few more small bits here and there. Christmas cards bought yesterday..

    Happy Sunday all!

Not having the presents bought is making me anxious!! You've done so well.

I love your goals. Once we are living properly on one wage, I can start to think realistically about how long it will take to pay off our mortgage. I wonder if it will be an anti-climax when it happens?

  • Had a lovely day pottering about at home, got their home work done for this week and then we went to collect the Advent calendar and went round the garden centre. Littlies chose their annual ornament for the tree, stared in wonder at the lights everywhere and then it was home to salmon for dinner!

DH is currently surfing for an Xbox as it looks like his might have the 'red ring of death' today..

I've just blown my Christmas money on a juicer! £40 off and it looked a good one, I used to juice loads, but haven't for a while due to having a naff juicer which I sold a few months ago. Really wanting 2016 to be the year I overhaul my diet!

25p nabbed on a Y0ug0v survey over the weekend.. also completed a mindm0ver one which was £1 so might be that another go for a while. Still trying to get a 75p one on Val Opin so I can just take the voucher and close the account!
