Liking your thinking with P!necone and Am@zon.

Washer is a bargain :T Had a new H0tpoint last December and a big difference in how much drier clothes came out. Sure machines get worse over time, was my bearings at death's door!

Yay for carpet fitting in time for tree putting up date :j
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • We've definitely seen the difference between the wetness of the clothes and the two spin speeds.. that's arriving on 1 December! They will take our old one, but I'm going to try and flog it for £20 or so next weekend first.

One week to carpet! :j I can imagine myself this time next week rolling around on newly laid carpet being very happy (yes I'm a carpet smell freak!)

Nabbed 75p on Y0ugov this morning meaning that is at £13. P-base another 80p, that's at £12.65 when that all clears, so will withdraw then. P-cone did pay the other £3, so I've £6 in there - will wait till that gets to £10 and then withdraw.

TCB - randomly an item I bought and cancelled with £15 cashback still tracked to payable today. Even better, I did the same thing twice so there is still another £15 sitting there that might track. I expected both of these to be declined as I cancelled. Free £15 which will be withdrawn and flung somewhere.

My delivery saver has ended at Mr T, so I think I might spend a few weeks hunting around for money off delivery shopping sign ups before committing to another year with Mr T.

Wet and dreary here, but got a nice day out at a Nat Trust place tomorrow, so just petrol to get there and will do a packed lunch.

Debating whether to apply for part time jobs to go along with my existing part time one, either 4 or 5 hours per week which doesn't seem a lot.. but it's giving up another evening and would means I'd be up to 45 hours a week contracted..

  • Screened out of two ValOpin surveys. GRRRR - I just want 65p to take a £10 voucher and then I'm out of using that one! Driving me crazy!

Closed the CC a/c with Santa@nder so that is me and then done! £6.21 cashback in credit on there, so that's winging it's way to the current account as I type.

I've been messing about with my app that I use to divvy up my money - it all is in one account in the bank, but then my app has all the different 'pots' and amounts on it. When we paidthe blinking car bill, I had £900 sitting there in red as we paid it off by borrowing from other pots and I found it really motivation / annoying to have a pot in red, so I've added CC2 (which is paid off in that I have the money, just paying it off bit by bit whilst it's interest free), CC1 and the mortgage, so I have three big red figures looming at me every time I open the app, which is probably 5 times a day.. Hoping it really spurs me on with CC1 as I've decided as long as I OP enough on the mortgage to hit the end of year target, my focus next year will be on every little bit extra going towards CC1. I know paying it off next year will be a tall order, but I want to see those figures coming down down down!

  • Gotta love starting the weekend waking up at 3.10am for NO reason and then not going back to sleep!

Bit of survey action last night ( oh how my Friday nights have changed)
Another 75p on YG, 150 points on IPs0s (close to payout on that now), 15p on 1poll and another P-cone survey done which I'm hoping turns into another £3 payout..

So we are off to a Nat Trust place today that we haven't been that has a Christmas fair and festive trail going on.. though by the sound of outside, we need to wrap up warm! The wind is blowing a hoolie outside and I've seen a few pictures of snow on bookface this morning.

Did a Sains shop online yesterday as I found a £18 off £60 shop voucher plus they had some really great deals on. Moving our shopping day to a Wednesday so I have £20 to do a top up shop this weekend and have a £2 off £20 shop at the same store, so will venture there tomorrow as we have a super small one locally and be the saddo walking around with a calculator to make sure I don't go over budget..

    Have a great Saturday all

A tiny bit of snow here and ruddy freezing outside. Got downstairs to discover OH and DD playing in a 14 degrees C lounge. DD didn't even have a dressing gown on! Now, I'm all for keeping the bills down, but 15 is my limit! :rotfl:

New carpets are so lovely. When we moved in here they had just put a few new ones down and they're so thick and luxurious! Well, not as much a year on.

I also got very excited about my new washing machine. It's definitely not sad.

Have fun out today. We're off to the local Christmas market so OH will probably spend money he doesn't have on tons of cheese.
