Glad you were able to check Ali - I've read somewhere that you should unplug it when not using as they are catching fire even when not in use.. It's scary!

Tree up after it fell over the first time when we let the littlies decorate it. Have to say it was a cheapy last year and looks pretty naff.. but with a few decs on, it looks Ok and I just didn't want to shell out for a new one right now..

Sat and did loads of work first thing in bed, so caught up a bit.. little man had horrible temp all night and still under the weather now.. waiting a call back to see whether to take him to out of hours.. he's better than he was though..

Weather still blowing a hoolie out there. Another day snuggled up indoors..

I hope your little one feels better soon. My experience of out of hours clinics has all been horrible! Lots of fluids!

OH and I are already debating (arguing) over the tree. My Mum gave us a really good quality artificial tree last year so I think we should just put that up, but OH really wants a real one. If we get a real one, it takes up half the dining room and we can only afford a little mini one (why are they so wide??!) so we won't be able to fit all the decorations on. But it does smell nice. Hmmm...we'll see.

:eek: Can't get to my plug for the TD or WM as they're behind them. I have hoovered out the fluff that had fallen under the filter to the bottom though - all feels cold. Roll on engineer contact and visit.

Thanks all, been out of hours with him and they reckon he has a flu bug on the way.. lots of fluids and rest, so me and DH need to sort out who is taking time off.. always a pleasure.. think I have managed to con DH to do tomorrow though..

Done another Mr S shop for next week, set up a new account and nabbed a £15 off £60 voucher again.. such a spendy week for food as we have visitors for the following weekend.

Still haven't committed to a supermarket delivery plan yet, will sign up in the New year and planning to be a complete fool and go and do the Christmas shop in person! Needles to say I'll be there at silly oclock when I do do it.

Cooked a gammon joint today that was reduced with mr S, then bath and bed for the littlies and then I'll be early to bed as I'm not expecting a fab night tonight with little man..

As expected little man was off School.. If I thought his dad was bad with man flu, he is worse!! He won't be in tomorrow either.. and reckon little girlie is coming down with something.

Just nabbed 175 points on Ips0s and 15p on 1poll.

Awful day at work today for so many reasons.. I seriously need to start looking for another job I think, just too much has gone on.. it's trying to find one with the right hours that is the pain!

Advent calendars are set up and Mr Elf on the Shelf has returned.. looking forward to a few weeks of mischief.. can't believe it's December tomorrow!

Still got little man off School and don't expect him back tomorrow.

Got 80p on P-base tonight and 10 points on Ips0s.

New washer is here and looks amazing, can't believe how big it is!

Meter reading done.. helpfully I seem to have misplaced the other readings, so can't compare at the mo.

That's about all here really.. early night in store as too many broken nights sleep at the mo due to poorly kids.
