I like the idea of SW, but portion control is not one of my strong points, so I'm always put off SW from that point of view - any thoughts?
Hi DFoD,
At SW we focus on Free Foods which are those you can eat in unlimited quantities so you really can fill your boots.
Stuff like fruit, veg, lean meat, fish, eggs, beans, peas, pulses, even pasta, rice and potatoes. As long as it's not cooked with oil and fat it's free, free, free.
I eat huge portions and so do some of my members.
SW is just what you need if you're appetite is that of a horse! No more diets!!:T:T

Maybe I should give it another go? I like the idea of going to a group I think, it's time though, isn't it always! Thanks for fuelling some thinking thistle!
Well one of the littlies got dressed, but me and little boy still in PJ's! Bought myself a new bag / rucksack which I plan to use all the time, so put my rucksack on fleabay and sold it straight away as I thought I might, so £11.30 back in my penny account. Only bought the bag as it had 25% off and I had birthday money!
Watched Frozen and Home so far today, drew / coloured hot air ballons and some letters / words. Played lego, barbies and cars. Made an awesome lunch and pinned so much stuff on pinterest for packed lunch ideas.
Still mulling over what I will do for lunches given that they could have free lunches, but I will wait on the menus from School before I finally decide, but I reckon they will be having packed lunches at least 4 days a week and every day if I don't like the look of the menu. Doesn't help I was watching 'Time for School' on CBBbies this week and seeing what those kids were eating, I was pretty shocked!
I know I could save money but I rather enjoy doing their lunches and I'd be happier knowing what they are eating.
and finally, got all the washing done, which is just having a final few minutes in the tumble before I fold it all and put it away.
Let's just say turning up trousers is not my strong point and it's a good job little man won't notice my dodgy wonder webbing on his trousers! Job done anyway!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Hi DFOD! Have just read yourdiary and your so organised! Amazingly well done on clearing your debt and OPing on the mortgage, fantastic!
I find the daily interest is weird and increases oddly in the month so I work it out at the end of the month by dividing it by the days and it seems accurate, I dont understand how it goes up at all!
Im another S@ntander-er and find the cashback is great, makes me feel better about paying bills!heehee.
Best of luck!

First day was fine, hardly anyone in so did 5 hours and snuck off at lunchtime.
Today is first proper day back though so all staff in and I've loads to do.
Not much MSE-ing going on really, just tracking any payments leaving my account
Not working tomorrow so planning a relaxing day with the littlies as it's my last day with them properly before they start school.
Can't wait to see them Monday all dressed up.
