Enjoy the last few days before your little ones are off to school!

I was looking at my nephew's school dinner menu and it looked amazing! When I was at primary school you didn't get a choice at all - it was just sloshed into a tray and often the custard mixed with the gravy! Needless to say, I had a packed lunch. High school dinners were the most unhealthy things in the world. Sausage roll, pizza or chips every day.

I definitely can't give you any healthy eating advice, other than that diets don't work at all for me! I lost about 9lbs a few months ago and I've put it all back on already. I think for me, it's just reducing the amount of chocolate I eat on a permanent basis that would work. And doing more exercise. I used to run 3-4 times a week and since I stopped I still eat the same amount.

  • Horrible day, everyone clearly happy to be back at work.

Came home to loads of OP surveys including one for £1, so been doing a few of those.

£3 received from pcone, so that's off CC2 leaving the balance at £486.84

  • Morning Friday!

So pleased to not be at work today, last official day of Summer hols for the littlies!

£35.35 from S&antander finally reached payable - bit frustrating I can't opt for an &mazon voucher fo it, can only have the cash, but have set that up to payout.

Hopefully the cback for the CC will track within the next week as well!

Will round up survey action later, have a to-do list as long as my arm to get done this weekend - hope to get a few bits ticked off today!

    Have a lovely day all!

  • I am ffffreezing today! We try and last till October before the heating goes on and use the woodburner if we get chilly and drink lots of tea!

Done an Amazon order today and paid via the gift balance I have built up and all but 30p of the cashback. That 30p will go off CC2 when I get the cashback!

Few more things ticked off the Christmas list,

Mr T order done, am over £50 this week, but I'm restocking a bit for lunches for School, but will be under the £60 budget. Few bits of baking to do on Sunday.

Planning a quiet weekend, nice not to have swimming lessons to factor in. Saturday will be our family day and Sunday will become our doing the house / pottering about day so we are not rushing about Sunday night trying to get ready for School / work etc.

Swimming will be on a Friday night, but we aren't going to start until October so we can just have a few weeks to settle into School and work routine again.

    YG - £46 (£4 to go...)
    OP - £33.80
    IPSOS - 303/1380
    Pbase - £6.80
PCone - £3 payout this week
VO - £2.80 (no progress this week - hence why I get frustrated with it!)
And a Tesco Home Panels survey to trial a bra, hoping I get through as I need a new one - just hope it is an appropriate one!

Check out the signature!!! CC2 is gone!

People will either agree or not, but I have moved the month in hand fund over, jiggled a few other accounts around, literally pinched a few pounds and pennies from other pots and I've enough to pay it off. I'm still going to pay minimum payments on the actual card whilst it's interest free so I can get interest on it, but it's gone as I have the money there.

Sooooo onto CC1, that little &%$£, that I will smash into smithereens asap.

I've redone my month in hand figure target, currently at £0 and will rework my budget later, considering I'm only paying one CC off now, but feels so good to only be tackling one debt and one mortgage. £5k to go and my debt is gone forever.. Feels a lot, tell me it's not!

Also means in total I have paid off £59,966.65 of debt!!! :T
