  • Onepoll is OP.. £40 payout but most surveys are 10p or 15p, but can be as little as 1 question.. I probably screen out of about 20%, but if you sat there for a day, you would probably get 20 or so surveys.. it's a good one if you don't mind little and often!

  • Very productive day trimming the hedge (no small job), washing the cars, weeding and cutting back the brambles from next door, water play with the littlies and a fair amount of baking to get ready for packed lunches this week.

Tomorrow is the big day for the littles and one told me today they can't wait to go, so I'm sure we will have little problem tomorrow with them going in.

I feel knackered, but the sun has shone and it's been such a lovely day. Back to work proper for me tomorrow with all the kids returning to school, but looking forward to a routine again - 7 weeks till half term!

Work to do tonight ready for my last day on a professional qualification that I am doing this week. Need to pull together a presentation to do to the rest of my group. My favourite thing - not!

  • Just popping in to say WELL DONE on CC2, you will be rid of CC1 in no time. Its amazing how debt just creeps up on you and before you know it you are in quicksand. I hope my kids learn from mine and my ex's mistakes but probably like me back then they will want things now and ccs are thrown at you these days. I cant believeI used to go on holiday on a cc. I shiver at the thought now. I never buy anything on credit since my ex left!

Good luck in work tomorrow and for LOs. I am jealous of the academic holidays :) (just not working with kids!) I did want to work as admin/accounts in a school when the kids were little but I didnt want to deal with fussy /overbearing parents! I do look at school jobs from time to time and I may do it one day but I am quite shy and may not be good in school meetings. I did try pta one time but too shy. :(

  • Hi ND, you should rethink it.. I haven't had any experience with kids prior to doing this and it was a baptism of fire for me, but now I love it. I'm in a secondary school so it can be challenging at times, but every day is different!

I swear I will never build up credit on a CC again after CC1 is gone, I will still use my S&ntander card to get cashback, but it will be paid off every month!

  • Can I ask what you do? I sometimes help out at the discos etc and the kids are great. I think I didnt follow up before because I couldnt do the hours but now my kids get themselves to school and I am working almost full time now anyway I am just scared of the meetings etc. But you have got me thinking again.

Good luck little dfods on your first day at school! :D

It sounds like you got tons done this weekend, which puts me to shame. I don't think I achieved much of anything!

  • Emotional day, I really didn't think i would be.. but they actually haven't put their uniforms on before and when they did, they looked so cute, I cried a little!

Was fine dropping them off, kinda flung them in the door and rushed to work! They are out for the count now.

I do Admin in a School ND.. have to say I'm finding this return after the summer the hardest one. too many moans going on for my liking at the mo!

Ips0s survey done and a few Tecco HP ones done for clothing testers for hubby and the kids. They would be helpful! Apart from that, waiting for hubby to return with a chinese, I'm starving and just need a night of chilling tonight.

  • So much for School wearing the littlies out, little man still up at 4.50am!

Car in the garage today for various bits of work, one being a near useless handbrake, it won't even hold on a hill anymore, I've been doing impressive revving trying to hold my car on the clutch lately!
