Thank you all…
No PB win for us this month!
We are determined to use this house move as a motivation to just not pack everything and take it with us, but sort through things and declutter. Necessity and the fact the house is so much smaller demands it. DH is going to start today which I’m very impressed with, in his man cave (garage) which is the worst offender.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Ooh lovely! Congratulations!
I recommend having a chat with your local council's conservation planning officer/architect about the implications of the listing and what they would and would not be up for - preferably before you spend money on plans to submit. Do you know what the listing is? - as the implications are different for different listing classes. Local to me they are quite relaxed for G2 interiors but the 2* and 1 houses are rather more restricted because of the interested parties. It's worth checking the planning portal to get a feel of how they have responded and when you do come to apply, couch it in terms of preserving the historic qualities while evolving the house forward to accommodate 21st century living and ensure its' preservation for generations to come.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
