Most things that we can do solicitor wise are done for a while so focus is moving to shifting things that actually need to be rehomed / sold / taken to the tip.
I’ve put a few times up for sale so hoping it’ll be a bumper month in terms of money earned.

Busy decluttering day. Two bin bags of rubbish. Two charity shops bags. Recycling overflowing. Sorted through clothes, memory boxes 😥 and home education resources. I’ve sold a few more things but will update totals when I know what postage costs me. DH is working through his stuff and has listed a few bits for sale.

I feel lighter for it. I really do. I can see space in the cupboards.

That's so good that you're doing it now, and not taking it with you/ not stressing about it two weeks before the move.  Enjoy the space :)

Money earned up to £73.21. Hopefully that will increase by the end of today as well.

eBay listing is my focus today. Only so much seems to sell locally.

So much happening here debtfree and very exciting news about the house. I knew the housing market was bouncing but didn't realise just how crazy it was. Round here I think people are selling without an issue but then like you say it's not easy to find the next property.

It sounds like a brilliant idea to really declutter and reorganise now, I remember someone saying once 'would I pay someone to move this?' Which I think helps the decluttering process to be a bit more productive.

Very true Cath. I’m determined not to move anything we don’t need

Productive day with more sorting and selling / freecycling. Money earned up to £101.90. I’ve cleared out my potting shed today and DH was still going through his bits.

We have the survey being done on our house this week.  I’ll be glad when that is done and no issues raised.

Few more pennies in from items sold and we are up to £126.90 earned this month.

I’ll try to tackle inside during the week and the main focus next for me is wardrobes and drawers in our bedroom.  Hoping I can weed out stuff that I don’t wear and that actually doesn’t fit me as I’ve also finally got my head into weight loss mode after gaining somewhat during lockdown and have lost 9lbs over recent weeks. Absolutely going for a slowly slowly approach. It didn’t go on overnight, so it won’t come off overnight.  Therefore I refuse to move some of my clothes I wear at my biggest. I have jeans in 6 sizes!

Good luck with the clothes!  I find them so difficult.
