  • Seems sensible to keep your options open when the world open up again.
Yes for sure, feeling more hopeful to be honest that there will be options!

  • So we edge towards payday.  Pleased to have gone over £50 with money earned in April and a tiny increase on what we have in the mortgage OP pot!
Need to return an item to @m@zon, but not sure that is essential in terms of going to the PO!  Also have a fleabay dispute due to missing pieces in a jigsaw!  What is my life coming to!

Home ed all done for today so kids are chilling and hoping to catch up with friends later.  Nice to see the rain, the air smelt so fresh this morning

    Money earned £50.94
    Mortgage balance - £72,596.99
    OP Pot - £857.16

  • April round up!
Sold some books locally and with a few more surveys, money earned in April is £60.44.  Not bad for free money and a little increase from last month.  Will aim to beat that in May if I can.

OPs for April are the automatic £92.83 which goes out with the mortgage payment.  Very low due to stockpiling cash (just in case), but the virtual OP pot is up to £1060.00 and that will be so satisfying to OP when things are a bit more settled.  Absolutely aiming for sub £70k by the end of May.

Strange divvying up all the money today.  Budgeted the usual for fuel and activities, but will have some leeway as May won't be a typical month at all!

    Happy May!
And I'm off wit the money earned with £1.65 from surveys.
Requested a payout from check0ut smart for £8.88 and tidied up the mobile phone account with a few pounds left over this month so the OP pot is up to £1070.81.
Quiet day here, home ed done for today.  Kids happily playing so I thought I'd pop on for a bit then going to hunker down with my book!

Busy Saturday and very quiet relaxed Sunday. Few surveys and two refunds mean that the OP pot is up and so is money earned. Forgot to colour in our 71 brick on the house on payday!

Started another £1 saved a day account and have £57 in there.

Managed to pick up a food collect slot from mr t tomorrow last minute so will drive there With the kids and they can have a change of scenery.

Be interesting to see what Thursdays brings in terms of exit strategy. Aside from The bigger picture, I’m looking forward to sending my OP over when it feels safer to do so!

Checked premium bonds today and chuffed to see we won another £25 this month.  Will wait for that to hit the bank account but it will go straight into the OP pot.

Slight increases in money earned due to a 35p survey income on 1poll today and a random 55p sent to the OP pot from a bill that was slightly less than expected.

Trip to Mr Ts was ok and cupboards are stocked for another few weeks dave a trip needed at some point during that time for fresh milk.

£5 earned this morning from ips0s so am@zon voucher requested. Seem to be getting through loads of those surveys at the mo.

Have come back to bed this morning as kids seem to have woken in grumpy moods and DH isn’t working so he can supervise and mediate for a bit. Even the dog sat outside the bedroom door and went back in his bed in here with me so he clearly isn’t feeling Wednesday either.

We are definitely getting out for a longer period of exercise today. We live in the middle of nowhere so going to go to a local area for kids to really run off some steam. Hopefully we will all feel better.

The temptation got too much and I sent the OP over of £1092.96 bringing the balance to £70,755.64 and have coloured in another brick.

Being super positive and hoping the world will start to right itself as of Monday though accept it will be baby steps.
