Yay to £39 on 0nepoll... hope it doesnt take another year to get the extra £1!!!!!
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Up to £39.35 on 1poll!
Divvied up all the money for the month though waiting for my exact figure as I've extra hours this month. Got at least £500 to pay off the debt, would have more, but have bought a slow cooker, a DVD player as ours broke just before Christmas (both of those on offer and we got for £63) - also needed to get a storage unit for home ed supplies and stuff - that came to £50 - but also got some card. One other purchase home ed based which was a nature curriculum which we are going to follow for a year.. that was £15.
have joined the library for the next county over as I can get the reading books for the littlies from there they are currently using at School - 75p reservation fee but way cheaper than the £7 per book online and I can find them no cheaper anywhere.
Also spent £84 paying for forest school for them for the summer term, had to book as they are popular, but means they will spend time learning without me which I think is important (and gives me two hours to myself!!)
Also paid DS's beavers subs for the term.
So a bit spendy, but necessary due to the huge change that's coming.
Few items on fleabay will sell. Got to return a CD player we got DS for Christmas as it broke, sure it's just a fluke as DD's is fin. Good ole Am@zon are just replacing it no quibbles.
Last two weeks before half term.. DD's school shoes are absolutely ruined. Would have been the last time I bought Cl@rks as I'm not impressed, but I need to nurse them through for another 8 weeks as I do not want to waste money on another pair when they will go in the bin at Easter!
DS has had another incident at school this week.. I just hope we can get him through to Easter as well. I'm just so over School and dealing with all of this.
That was an unintended long update! happy Sunday all!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Depending on the reading scheme, The B00k People/ Sch0lastic may stock them at times - mine have all followed the 0xford Reading Tree at primary and sets of 10 (or more) have been available on there for a very good price - and sell very well once you no longer want them. Also -if you haven't already - hook into your local home-ed groups - (almost bound to be at least one) - resources can be shared/ bought second hand cheaply/ loads of ideas of people who've done it before and just helpful knowledge - such as educational places to visit who do educational visit prices for home-ed-ers (so you pay school trip orices, as opposed to regular visitor prices)

The Book People have added loads more reading scheme sets this year. I got DD the last series of Biff Chip and Kipper as the local library only had the first two books and I want to know what happens next. :-) We also got some workbooks from there but DD hates them as much as I loved them as a kid.
We borrow 10 books from the library every week so that must have saved us thousands over the past year or so.
You probably already know about teacher resources websites like Twinkl. And since DD started using MyMaths (not sure how much a subscription would be outside of school), she has finally got to grips with number bonds. I thought the day would never come but the paediatrician recommended repetition as DD struggles to learn logically.Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

I'm going to join Twinkl, just waiting until nearer the time. I couldn't find any of the book levels they were at online any cheaper than £6 a book, but I've got a fair few built up now and Oxford Reading Tree do free downloads (especially if you need a fix Amy!)
So CC paid and figure updated, aim to get that into the £400's this month. I've got £200 to still pay off debt, I'm just holding onto it just in case.
I've started am emergency fund (again) and £50 in that.
having a huge row with BT at the mo over the fact they took £100 more on my DD this month for something that should have never been set up in the first place. Hoping to get it back next week.
School continues to be a complete nightmare for DS, I just can't wait till Easter now, 7 weeks of School left and counting. If we can make it that far!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Your poor DS. At least there's the Feb week off in the middle for some relaxing time.
I don't think there's a nice telecoms company out there unfortunately from my experiences!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

How annoying of BT DFOD, hope you get to the money back sharpish.
Poor DS, hope the next 7 weeks flies by xxMummytogirls x0 -
Day off after School made it clear they didn't want DS back today after a medical review for him. Bought some home ed supplies from the range and sent £10 to the CC just to get it under £600...DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
