  • Just to put that into perspective, when i say it's sitting at £1500, that's because I've moved nearly all of CC1 onto it as well just so I have one amount to tackle.. I know I'm skilled at spending, but I haven't just spent £1500!!

Up to £2.50 on 1poll and two things sold on fleabay. Another I had to refund as randomly the parcel ended up back with me and the person didn't want to wait anymore!

Drizzly today, washing on after a trip to the beach yesterday resulted in filthy clothes. We need to nip to town to get some slippers for DD, a book / diary or something for me to log what we do each day with home ed, (I can't think of a better way to record what we do in case I need to evidence it!) and I think we will do some Valentine Day inspired baking, plus I want to make some bird food mix with them towards a challenge we are doing with the RSPB.

    Happy Valentines Day all!

  • Sounds like you're having a lovely half term so far DFOD xx

  • Yesterday afternoon turned into a chill out on the settee day, DS is a bit under the weather and just needed to not to anything. DD busied herself playing with barbies.

Will attempt to make the bird food today. Weather is dreadful today. Want to try and get to a new library today and maybe a walk but depends on weather and what the littlies want to do.

Just done a £1.40 survey on pr0filic and will now make a cuppa and tackle some pbase ones!

  • Ended up at the beach yesterday for a few hours - sun was out and it was lovely!

So updated the signature. CC1 will be cleared by end of this month and then I will use it for everyday spending such as food and petrol because the Mr T vouchers are handy for Christmas when they have their boost on!

CC3 will just be tackled as and when - worst case I have over 2 years interest free on it. So it isn't going to be a priority now.. I'm paying interest on the mortgage so I'd rather send the money towards that! I'm just sitting on all extra pennies now until I've done the tax credits claim mid April to see what that comes out as, plus we can claim the marriage allowance then and I need to do my carers allowance claim. Once I know what we are looking at each month, I'll redo the monthly budget.

  • Well half term done and dusted, really sad but trying to focus on it being my last stint at work now and come Easter time, they won't go back to School again.

Bought a printer today but used Mr T vouchers so it cost £27 which was a bargain. I need to sign up for Twinkl tomorrow as they have a one day special and possibly buy a laminator.

Also debating whether to cancel my NT membership as you can join the New Zealand one which gives you access to the NT here and English Heritage for half the cost.
