Not long now DFOD. Will be thinking of you for the meeting this week.
Not sure this will help but just incase we sometimes get parents ringing saying children have been upset about coming to school etc, when we go and find them in class and then report back to the parent they are generally happy joining in etc. Its so awful sending them off to school when they don't want to go there, I've been there with my 2 and its heart wrenching xxMummytogirls x0 -

School won't apply for one before that but are trying to build all this negative evidence against him to support one. I know they can't legally enforce the reduced timetable hence why I'm kicking back against it..
I'd heard about the additional things you could get with the DLA, someone had said about swimming pools, but I didn't know about the cinema, so thank you for that.
Also will go look up carers allowance, although I thought it had to be necessity rather than choice to claim that??
I've joined sooo many home ed groups on facebook and finding them really great.
Thanks for your post, it's so helpful!
Rubbish - school do not need a diagnosis to apply for an EHCP !
You can bypass school and apply direct - if you message me where you are I can find out your local independent supporter and they will hold your hand through the process .....Sealed pot challenge 822

That's kind of you DB, but I'm not sure it would be of any use now anyway, apart from just highlight us more to the LA and I want to be out of their spotlight as much as poss when we move to HE. I know they get involved but given that our intention is not to put them back in School for the forseeable future, i see little gain? Unless you know more?
I'm so past assessments and reviews for him, all the time ramming down his throat that he's different. His sister struggled that he gets all this additional attention (even if it isn't positive) as she is in the same class.
Did a £1.20 survey on pbase so reached payout on there when it credits, Up to £12.95 on pr0filic and impulsively sold something last night on IG for £20!
Off the mark again on 1poll and up to 35p on there.
Can hear little man has just got up.. don't even ask why I am already up and wide awake at 4.15am, but now he is, so that's the end of my peace and quiet for today!

Another meeting with School today and his Occ Therapist. Obvious School haven't put many recommendations from their report in place. So they have clear guidance now and I left his OT and the Head going off to look at the classroom for more recommendations..
Another £1.50 on pbase today, 50p on Y0ugov and up to 45p on 1poll
Electric bill generated and we are £300 in debit - so hoping that resolves over the Summer.. we missed a month when the company went bust but they are still using the same systems etc.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Nabbed a £1 survey on 1poll which is always nice, don't often get those! Up to £1.60. Another Y0ugov this morning and up to £36.25 on there. Pbase is at £11.80 when the last surveys clear. Waiting for 1poll credit to hit the bank account.
We have another bump in the debt free road on that our cess pit has a leak. in one way it's great as it's emptied itself saving us £280 but obviously that content should not be going into the ground, so we have a company that have to come out and empty the last bit and clean it out so they can see where the leak is, then we have to have the work done. Not an option not to do this.. it's nearly £400 just to get it cleaned and emptied.. hoping they might be able to do the work to repair it there and then so that we don't have to pay to get it cleaned and emptied again.
Just as we get so close, another spanner. and yet again it highlights the importance of the emergency fund, but I just keep flinging everything at the debt to try and get rid of it. so depressing sometimes. even worse having the pit open for hours so they can go in there - worse job ever surely!
On a more positive note, it's half term and I'm just so happy to be able to have the littlies at home. Not much planned.. just want to get out and about and do some more home ed prep!

Your half term is earlier than ours - still a week to endure here!
Rubbish news about the cesspit - at least you don't have to clean it yourself. It's just another big thing that you really didn't need.
We're awaiting an OT assessment and I've made suggestions but DD's teacher this year is blind and deaf to it all. I'm really hoping the Yr2 teacher stays in yr2 as she seems just what DD needs and DD is constantly asking when she can move into her class. Of course having an understanding head makes a big difference too and it sounds like sadly you don't have one.
Have a lovely half term and hopefully you can all forget about school for a bit.Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

Happy half term to you guys DFOD.
Oohhhh cess pit job sounds nasty, have you had a diagnosis on how bad the leak is yet? xxMummytogirls x0 -
One survey credits on pbase, so £10 payout requested there.
Hoping they can fix the leak whilst they are down there to be honest. they have to have specialist breathing equipment so doing it ourselves isn't an option. I've had the quotes for repair which weren't too bad, I'm hoping for one leak that is easily repaired and we may be looking then at another few hundred, but then it would be done and we've saved £280 that was saved for the next emptying. Joys of living where we do and no mains drainage.
Having a lazy start today, DH having a much needed lie in. I want to get into the garden today and start tidying it up a little. Though it's supposed to be cold so we'll see.

Saturday turned into such a lazy day, we hung three pictures and that was it!
Got out yesterday to a NT place, only spends were a cuppa and a coffee! Also got some bits for the kitchen to do the next bit of work, coving, glue and some blades.
Off to the beach after lunch to meet friends for a mess about and a dog walk. Spends will be a drink and a cookie for the littlies after. Weather is supposed to be lovely today, especially the afternoon!
Strange to think that the next School hols, I won't be going back to work afterwards!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I need to add a CC3 to the list - sigh.
It's on an interest free set up for over two years and I am just going to leave it there and not bust a gut to clear it. Every time I do, something happens.
Given our change in circumstances, I need to concentrate on building an EF and making sure we are all OK.
I've had to buy some essentials for home ed as well and they were unavoidable.
Sitting about £1500 I reckon!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
