Just to celebrate, I sent £60 OP to the mortgage as well.

So life is pretty hectic with two littlies around all the time, we are taking a more laid back approach during Easter and taking opportunities to see School friends. £10 spent yesterday at an Easter Egg hunt at a NT place and off to forest school today which a friend runs so although it's pretty drizzly, I feel we have to go. Got stuff planned for most days which is nice.

Plan to do bits of learning around all of this and still keeping up with reading every day. I submitted my report to the LA last night for our 'educational philosophy' and await their response as to whether they are satisfied with our plans.

For the first time ever, I've been building up pots, our emergency fund is nearly £300 - long time followers on here - fall over now! I'm saving for a potting shed for me (£100 already) and a new bed for us (£100 already), a wedding at the end of the year which will involve 6 days away (£281 already with hotels already paid for) and £100 put aside for the CC. I'm only going to pay little bits off it as it's interest free as I need to keep pennies just in case. I've paid £137 off it already this month. Plan is to not use it, and just bring it down bit by bit.

In other news, my car broke again, but turns out the original garage didn't do some work proper;y so they are giving us £100, so only cost us £82 to get fixed.

Applied for carers allowance so await the outcome of that. not expecting to get it, but so many have said to apply given we got DLA - that I thought I would.

Need to ring tax office on 6th to apply for marriage allowance and then the dreaded tax credits on 18th to do that claim..

Thanks for still reading whilst I've been MIA!

Apply for marriage allowance day. Need to pop to Mr T to buy some Easter choc. Ordered my potting shed which I'd been saving for! Looking forward to that arriving next week.

Mortgage figure updated to £99,798.02. Every little helps!

It keeps reminding me when I'm on here that I need to photocopy my pension statement and my payslip for the carers allowance application! Will try to do that today!

Was a good DFOD and did everything I needed to yesterday and then spent a lovely afternoon with friends in the sunshine. Spent £5.70 on ice creams which were lovely! Littlies were knackered last night (so was I)

Few hours at home this morning, then off to a friends for a bit and then karate..

£3 on p1necone this morning, 60p on pr0filic and up to £11.25 on 1poll. Also cashed in £7.38 from TCB and put it into the am@zon account. Not sure where I am with y0ug0u but I'm close to payout!

    Have a great Friday all!

After 29 loooooooong weeks, my cashback for changing banks finally tracked and so I've £50 on the way to the bank! Fleabay sales bought in £52 yesterday - parcels all packaged and ready to go. Y0ug0v is at £46.25. have promised myself a treat, well something for the house when one of these reached payable, so ordered that last night. Another £25 will go to me as one of the items sold was a pair of boots I need to replace, the other £75 will be split between pots when it's received.

Ips0s has £5 vouchers going so I've nabbed a £5 for am@zon but need to buy a birthday present for a 6th party so that might disappear fairly quickly.

Sent off additional paperwork for carers allowance so it's a waiting game for that.

Off to a friends today for a play for a while. Cooler here but looking dry. Been lovely to get washing dry outside this weekend.

Forgot bread from the Mr T order so need to pick some up when I go to post the parcels. Depending on how long we are at friends, I'm hoping to get to a port this week for some treasure hunting!

Littlies seem to be enjoying the hols, but I'm conscious apart from reading, we aren't doing much with them. Not sure whether we will have a total break like this for the next school hols, or whether we will keep the learning activities going. Regardless we will start to do a few more things this week just to start to get them back into the swing.

£3.98 OP to the mortgage today. Will send little bits as and when I can to bring it down.

Also just sat and worked out a budget based on likely income from both of us now. haven't added in tax credits as I want to know we can manage without.
