Needless to say it's been a tough week. Onwards and upwards though....
I'm sorry to hear it's come to this:(. Mind you without your debt and mortgage busting you wouldn't have much scope to make big changes. I hope you find a solution that works.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

You're right LG.. I need to get the last bit gone, but no we wouldn't have been able to even consider it.
It's scary stuff right now.. but I'm doing lots of research and prep and I'm excited about the challenge.
£20 sent to the CC yesterday, taking DHs phone for posting today for recycling, should make about £50 on that. I'm also returning something bought a while ago which should credit us £130 or so, so that will all go towards the CC.
I really want to try to start an emergency fund as well during the next few months. I've three and a half paydays left so need to make the most of them. I also need to look at the budget to see where we can save. I'm tempted to move away from weekly food deliveries in time and pick up bits and pieces when we need them.. There will be minimal savings.
As much as I hate it, I also need need to claim tax credits again, I'll still have my part part time job, but our income is halving so assume we will be eligible. I've worked the budget without taking tax credits into account, so they would be a bonus.

How disappointing that after all the stress of moving schools, the education system is still failing you. It's a shame there's no way the government can pay home educators the equivalent that the school get as that would make life a little easier.
Did you look at PIP?
My patience with DD's school is wearing pretty thin this year due to a teacher who said all the right things and then followed through on none of them. The school have just ignored my request for an Ed Psych so far. Because DD seems fairly happy at school, we're sticking with it, but it does cause a lot of stress for me. I just want the best for her.
Looking on the bright side, this is a new adventure for you all and will give you some really good quality time with your kids and open doors to making new friends and having new experiences. I know a very lovely home educator and one of my closest friends was taught at home after bullying and it really transformed her life. The money will work itself out - it always does.
I hope the next few months go by without incident whilst you prepare. xxxMortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

PIP? Amy - what's that?
We did apply for DLA and heard he has got that this week for the next two years..
Loads of stuff selling on fleabay, but with everything going on, I've lost track of what I've sold - so will stop tracking that as one of the goals. DH has just taken 15 parcels to the PO!

After the Easter hols. I need to give notice and it makes sense to do it at the end of a term.. if we can get that far without DS being excluded. A bit of me wants to be paid for the Easter hols as well! and we won't get any tax credits this year due to earnings. Also gives me time to prepare. DH needs to request a change to his working hours as well, so a few things we need to sort out. It's happening though for sure!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Big changes ahead - but - like Lady Gnome said - your debt busting up until now helps make your financial position stronger.
I also hate tax credits - I can analyse multi million£ accounts for businesses - but tax credits forms and staff turn me into a burbling idiot! I was speaking to them earlier today - gah!

Up to £38.05 on 1poll, so nearly there!!! Everything else quiet. Appears DD is being picked on by another girl at School, I've had days of her being upset saying she had no friends. If it isn't one of them it's the other - can't wait until they are both out of there now.
I resigned today. :eek:DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
