  • Listed one thing on fleabay so far, but have put 10 or so on a local bookface selling site. have pics of the other fleabay items, so might do them when I've finished this update.

DH done some DIY and we talked about all we want to achieve in the house this year, big works! First up is half of the kitchen (can't cope with a big rip out so doing it slowly). Wall is prepped now, just some pipes to box in and coving to come down and we can paint.

Apart from polishing the school shoes we are all set for tomorrow. Kids don't seem keen to go back at all!

  • Well they changed their minds this morning and were hyper excited to go back. I'm having a chilled out day doing lots of little bits, sorted my underwear drawer for starters. Got 5 things listed on fleabay yesterday, have another 2 at least to go on, but I also have a big bag of stuff that needs to go on as well.. so will try for another 5 today.

Need to empty the photos from my phone, there are nearly 1000 on there, want to finish reading a book.

My maths was out on the credit card, so despite making OP's over the weekend, I'm at £115.47 and still not under £100.

Still waiting for M1ndmover payment to come in which seems to be taking some time - anyone had this?

Diet was going Ok yesterday till DH made a scrummy roast, so I caved, but on it today (beginning to sound like a broken record)

  • 5 items on fleabay with buy it now on them and 2 have sold already. Have another two items on the floor in front of me to take pics of and get on there. Oooh another just sold whilst I was typing!

Pleased I've finally got over £37 on 1poll - really would like to get to payout by end of next week on there! All other surveys quiet today.

Sooooo we are returning the tablets we got for the littlies as we think they are appalling! Good in that £140 ish will credit back to the CC, but it's going back onto CC2 which will clear the balance but leave me £30 ish in credit on there, so just looking at Mr T as there are some bowls I'm after on there, it does mean it could be clear in a few days!!!!

Bad news is that obviously we have to replace them and littlies are happy to wait as we are going to get eyepads. More expensive, but think they are worth it, so need to start saving for that really as it's their birthday presents! Frustrated we just didn't get them in the first place.

really missing the littlies today, and as of this week, I'm back to working 5 days until July. so won't have the luxury of a day to myself!

ooh and another just sold as well! that's £51 in total! Guess i need to get to the PO now!

Are you off all week DF0D? Enjoy the time it goes too quick!!

Re the eyepads, DD1 has one and whilst they are expensive they are a good investment I would say. Weve had the google ones before and they don't seem as good xx

  • To be honest we will get the cheapest we can, but prob looking about £200 at least each. Not bothered about the size. Back tomorrow MTG.. was just an extra day off!

Sold all five buy it now items and payment made so £57.16 / £500 made so far and think I've sold another item for £10 for collection this weekend - good start made on this target.

As CC2 is practically taken care of now with the refund from the tablets, my attention is turning to CC1 and I'm ready to get rid of this - can't believe how good it feels to just have ONE debt to pay off, feel like a weight is lifted, and that's saying something after paying back over £64k of debt!!

I know I'm going to do it now, this debt is going to be gone! With that in mind £18.81 sent to CC1, will update total in a few days when a few bits have gone through and payments cleared against it. I reckon it's sitting at about £1150.

  • Thanks MTG, that's true, like me in sooo many ways!

30 points on ips0s tonight, tablets returned and refunds in progress, 15p on 1poll and a survey on pcone done.

Rubbishy first day and I succumbed and stuffed my face through stress. Good job, I'm not on here as fatfreeoneday as it'll never happen!
