Salmond and Sturgeon Want the English Fish for More Fat Subsidies

Hey Generali maybe missed your reply to this one as well... string answered but I am curious to know how you feel regarding the dichotomy
Are you like string and believe it's only one way ? Unable to accept that it goes both ways ...
Or do you accept that yes there are a portion of people in England that hate Scots?
I noticed once again you referred to our perceived hatred of the English in your post to Shakey ... I do feel sorry for you being so blinded you can not see tbh ... and it's a blinding of your own making and choosing to remain ... such a shame
I felt I answered it in this post:It cuts both ways: there are plenty of English people that aren't that keen on Scottish people. We all know the football chant, "I'd rather be [a person from Pakistan] than a Jock.
I still can't help but feel that for many of the 45% there were a lot of people that just wanted shot of England. I can't back it up with numbers and I'm sure that for every quote I can find supporting my case you can find one to undermine it but we all know that many Scots (a large minority) will be ABE in sports support as an example.
Yes, I am sure that there are clearly a number of people in England that dislike Scots and a smaller number that hate Scots. To use anecdote (and I am well aware that the plural of anecdote is anecdotes not data) I have met many Scottish people who seem to hate the English but I am yet to meet an Englishman that hates Scots.
Put it this way, the English haven't elected a single politician that wants shot of the Scots in their entire history (that I am aware of at least) whereas the Scots pretty much voted across the slate for pollies that want shot of English people at the last election and look to do the same at the next possible opportunity.
It's interesting that Scots will vote for a party that hates the English but refused to vote to leave them.0 -
Again with your hatred of the English ... where has Sturgeon or Salmond ever stated they hate the English ?0

They haven't just as the BNP these days is too savvy to say that they hate black and brown people.
I've made my views clear: Nationalist Parties appeal to racists for their mass support. Not every nationalist is a racist but most are.
That doesn't mean that I think you are an anti-English racist but it does mean that I think most of your fellow travelers are.
I've answered all questions in good faith so let's turn it around. Do you, Zag and STD think:
1. No SNP supporters hate the English?
2. Some SNP supporters hate the English (what proportion please: 1%, 10%, 100%)?
3. Why is there an anti-union party in Scotland but not one in England if anti-Scottish racism in England is a problem?
Answers are demanded of me so answer those three questions please.0 -

They can't without record oil prices.
That's the dichotomy the SNP faces: bankrupt the country with independence and never see power again while gaining their primary goal or maintain power by delivering pork rather than independence.
What would you choose, power or your goal? It seems clear that the SNP is increasingly going for the former.0
