They haven't just as the BNP these days is too savvy to say that they hate black and brown people.
I've made my views clear: Nationalist Parties appeal to racists for their mass support. Not every nationalist is a racist but most are.
That doesn't mean that I think you are an anti-English racist but it does mean that I think most of your fellow travelers are.
I've answered all questions in good faith so let's turn it around. Do you, Zag and STD think:
1. No SNP supporters hate the English?
2. Some SNP supporters hate the English (what proportion please: 1%, 10%, 100%)?
3. Why is there an anti-union party in Scotland but not one in England if anti-Scottish racism in England is a problem?
Answers are demanded of me so answer those three questions please.
What have I got to do with the SNP?
England being in a union has little democratic deficit. Most people I know think that the union is a weird constitutional anomaly and sharing our vting system with Scotland is harmless as they're too small to dilute our electoral choices.
If you tacked on the population of India or America and let them vote for our government, we'd be concerned that our voting power would be diluted out. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Who says I don't live in Scotland ?0

Scottish voters have as much clout as any other voter in the UK. If they were to stop voting parochially for petty nationalists and start voting for parties with a wider UK perspective the imagined greviance disappears. Failing that, go for independence and vote for someone who`ll best deal with the resultant financial black hole. Although choosing the latter means you can`t blame WM or the nasty Tories if it all goes pear-shaped.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
I believe you live in SW England. I apologise if I am incorrect in my belief.
...hers a Plymouth Maid I think. Although thats not consistent with her latest anecdote about being harangued by an English woman for being Scottish. Perhaps she makes stuff up to suit her argument.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
You appear to be a supporter.
I don't do anything for them at all. If I wanted to there's an organisation down here I can join, but I see them as an opposition party here, which considering my obvious views on the Tories, is very much a good thing.
Let them get on with that.
I vote for a unionist party, unionist mayor, etc. and I want a much looser union than this ridiculous pantomime horse of a constitutional catastrophe.
OK I'm being unkind but our constitution is an ad hoc muddle which managed to work well until it didn't.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Angus McNeil proposing Scottish Votes for Scottish Laws should be interesting. He'll be laughed out of the HOC's of course, but the logic is inescapable now English Votes for English Law's is now in place. Scottish MP's should now be able to amend and veto the Scotland Bill before the rest of the HOC's gets to vote on it. After all, it only affect's Scotland.Owen Thompson MP Verified account â€@OwenThompsonIf Scottish MP's can't vote on English matters now, should English MP's be allowed to vote on the Scotland Bill?Angus B MacNeil MP â€@AngusMacNeilSNP 3 hrs3 hours ago Hence my 10 Mins Rule Bill in November Scots Votes for Scots Laws...and I want a much looser union than this ridiculous pantomime horse of a constitutional catastrophe. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

I think the above sums up rather well what you were saying Zag ?;)
You need independence ideally, but whenever they`ve been asked not enough of your fellows Scots have wanted it.
Shame really, it must be so galling for you!:rotfl:“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0
