Need to get off my bum and make my ammends, even if I don't want to. Been a bit slack with my daily inventory too. Reading through Step 11 with sponsor next week, so that'll be the next thing to work on, I always think that HP leaves me when I'm low. Need more contact. And I could probably do with doing a bit more service.

One thing I'm struggling with is people looking up at ME. I've had people ask me to sponsor them. One lady phoned me yesterday after she'd relapsed. It feels strange that people are treating me like someone who knows what they are doing!

It is a very strange feeling. Be aware that although may not know everything (who does) you are staying sober through thick and thin and this is noticeable to people about you. You most certainly have a lot to offer, your experience. Someone who is going through a hard time will be able to identify with you and get some hope. I know, also, that I, along with many other AAs, had a very low opinion of myself. So much so that it appears to be part of this illness. Restoring self respect is part of the recovery process. Keep up the good work.

I go to OA sometimes. I'm going to an Al-Anon meeting in a few weeks. There are a few other fellowships I keep meaning to go to, but its a case of working up the courage!
