Lol hiya Lewt :hello: . I was just thinking about this thread as I try to motivate myself to type something up that has been staring at me all week. Thinking if I managed to pack up the booze with so little effort, why on earth can't I get my a*se into gear and do a tiny little typing job that will take ten minutes!
Been busy up and down to the flat in Southport alternate weeks since the beginning of Jan, and booking my advance rail tickets to ensure I only pay £11 each way! That is a game in itself as you have to get just the right time to book or they are either not yet released or all gone. I am now sorted up to 19th April, but as it's too soon to book a return I have no idea how long I'll be stuck there for!
We have also booked a cruise :cool2: for the end of August. Fly to New York then cruise around Bermuda. Never been on one before so it will be an "experience". Been reading the blurb about the ship, and apparently they greet you with champagne as you embark, so I hope they have a suitable alternative otherwise I'll be thirsty!
15 months yesterday since I climbed on the wagon - life is still wonderful :T . How's thing with you?I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I'm alright too, not really doing very much, just doing a lot of sleeping, seeing as I won't get to do that much after April!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Glad to hear all is still on track for the happy arrival Feely. By simple deduction you must be six months now. Bursting out all over no doubt, just like Spring will be soon!

I'm 28 weeks and 4 days! And I'm also massive, measuring a couple of weeks ahead. I'm almost a big around as I am tall
Got an appointment with the anaesthiologist in March to check about pain relief. Not so nervous about it now, but want to make sure I don't take anything that an alcoholic should avoid!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Ooh I hope you can get organized in time then. Don't forget Freecycle if you are a bit strapped for cash. You might get given newborn size clothes etc. by friends, as babies grow so fast they probably hardly get the wear out of them.
At least get your bag for the hospital packed lol!I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

What options are there?
Gas and Air (entonox), Pethidine, Epidural or Meptid (meptazinol).
According to a few people, Gas & Air makes them feel drunk. Pethidine is similar to morphine so I assume a no go, and I don't know if I can have an epidural because of a pelvic problem.
I think I'll try on paracetamol only :rotfl:Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
