    As far as I know it is someone who has had a problem with drink in the past, but doesn't drink now, because they know that if they did have just one drink they would be back on the slippery slope again. The reasoning being that if you are an alcoholic you remain one forever, even if you never touch a drop again.

    I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will correct me if I've got that wrong.

    A "dry drunk" is someone who is not drinking but is behaving as if he/she was drinking.

    hi all, dry drunk to me means some1 who is like me in their drinking habbits but has stopped and done nothing to change their thinking... if you have an alky horse theif and he stops drinking you still got a horse theif....


    im in hollywood btw :) had a wicked tattoo done which ill post later.... :)

    well done on nearly 2 years feelie that first month of me being out of treatment felt longer than the time that has passed since... lol

    It's probably because there are about 25 of us regulars, so when there is a new post we all pop in for a look, even if we haven't anything specific to contribute at that time.
