What are you talking about?
If its small amounts in the real world , it goes through small claims , which in turn offers free mediation
Free mediation? We have recently represented a (private) couple at mediation and there was certainly a cost for the Mediator. Could you give more information please?“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

I think it's this: http://www.smallclaimscourtgenie.co.uk/small-claims-mediation-service/
- I agree, from experience the mediation isn't free, but this is suggesting it is.0 -

Still, it makes great TV

ITV settle the claim, so it's less about it being ignored and more about the people in the dock getting what they think is owed.ITV pay whatever costs are 'ruled'.
I know this is the model for Judge Judy, but I don't think it's the same process for this.
But again happy to be corrected.0 -

I very much doubt that all of them are.
It seems to me that a lot of them want the publicity for their business venture.
What would it take for two friends to get together and concoct a story to get on tv and make a bit of money out of it.0 -
So , i was correct then , any decisions are NOT legally binding , however badly that might reflect should it reach a proper court
And as i pointed out , mediation for small amounts (i.e small claims) is free of chargeNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -

That's not what you said:
they might be , but its a TV court not a court of law so anything he `decides` can be ignored in any event
Which it's not, because courts don't like it when ADR is ignored. They mostly (unless there was a clear precedent not followed) follow the ADR decision and add all the costs to the losing party.0
