Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Level 3
Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –- Using the idea Shirley suggested, get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be
Welcome to everyone new, it is fun, honest!!!
Feisty fairy - i'd think up clever storage ideas for the hall or porch. Our porch is only 16 inches deep but we spent the weekend putting shelves up both sides and now all the shoes, umbrellas, hats etc are in the porch giving us more room in the hall. Good luck sorting it out.

Evening everyone. Hope you all had a good day.
I've had a lovely relaxed afternoon. Spent half hour in the garden just chilling, then came in to spend time with DD but she wanted to finish her playstation game so I ploughed through my cookery mags - I guess cooking is my hobby. So anyway DD then decide what she wanted to bake and we spent a couple of hours baking. She was really pleased with what she'd done, and it tasted good so she's happy. And I'm happy because I made ricotta and orange scones - one of our favourites.
Ready for tomorrows challenge - not too big, not too small as I know I have to call in to work at some point and that will be an hours round trip.
See you all tomorrow

Hiya, sorry list is so late.
Solwaykid, Holly's getting on great with her new Mum, spoilt rotten, I called her today and said we'll go over next week to see her, kids haven't seen her since she went and are dying to go over. She even sleeps in new Mum's bed, not something allowed here so part of me praying she never has to come back as it'd be a bit of a culture shock, my dogs don't go upstairs!
What a day, started off took DS2 to see nurse at the doctors to sort out something for his eczema on his face, much easier than waiting for GP appointment. Shopping arrived about 10am got that lot sorted.
Instead of doing the furniture moving we decided to get a few things done today inc go to a model shop in North Shields (got stuck for nearly 2 hours as a bus broke down in the tyne tunnel, but kids did very well considering it was very hot and boring then got stuck for over an hour on the way back through Newcastle! Sorted out Costco card (and got some bargains, had a good wander round) and go to the Metro Centre to sort out phone contract for DP etc (sorted now, he's no longer got that excuse to spend hours on the tinternet looking for one) Went for fish and chips down the fish quay as after the wait it was lunch time and we were starving, was very nice. Spent way too much in £ shops at the Metro Centre, also got a few things at the Royal Quays Julian Graves shop means I have to go in! Got a couple of Christmas/Birthday gifts to put away.
Anyway, doing all that we've got back about 20 minutes ago and shattered, no way I am moving furniture this late, bags to unpack etc. Will have to make a start on it tomorrow. Also need to make our tea, not had anything yet but kids been fed. First totalling up for the week of the kids points for being helpful etc, can tell how much it's changed as I owe them over £5 each!
Right off to find something for tea, probably spag bol as I can make it with my eyes closed and it's quick! Hope everyones had a good day, will hopefully catch up reading through laterOne day I might be more organised...........

I was staying with an old school friend in between Menton and Monaco. She married a millionaire many years older than her and lives there with him for about half the year. So it was a week of seeing howthe other half live. Her houswork problems aren't quite like mine --- marble floors and silk carpets --- but she's very OS, re-uses all the food containers, uses up all the left overs and mends her clothes. Where were you?
Hey Witchypoo and 7WW, we need a sub group for Archers fans!0 -

Here comes the cow's tail..
Hi all, been a busy day judging by all the posts, taken me ages to catch up but given me an excuse for a sit down. Thanks!
I'm a bit hyper this evening so forgive me if I ramble.
Welcome to dollydd, blackangel, Juliapenguin, and sneaked back in disdisbiff, hope you find it useful on here.
Tinsel, that's a really lovely thing to celebrate, have a smashing day tomorrow.
Shell, I don't know anyone else who's had the virus/lurgey thing ..yet.. but I really did feel like I'd never been ill and I've been more energetic than for ages today. Very odd. Glad you said that something is doing the rounds, I thought I'd had an allergy or something.
Michelle, don't envy you having to clear up the murderous aftermath. Mice I can rescue or clear up but a rabbit? Crikey, that's ambitious of them!
Sexymouse,Bob's just fine thanks, they knocked him out, opened his paw up and cleaned it out with peroxide. The vet seemed happy when I took him back for his antibiotic and we met one of his (Bob's) probably millions of children in the vets too. Son of Bob, very cute! I will post a pic when I finally get my camera back off my Bro. but as my Mum said when she met him 'he's no looker'
Anyone need a break to put the kettle on yet?
Since I came in at 6 I have mostly..
Put the kitchen back in it's Monday state
Mowed the lawns for 45 mins
dusted the livingroom
Vacc'd the livingroom and hall
Tidied the coffee table/hotspot
Put bleach on the manky grout in the bathroom
Put my tax disc in place for tomorrow (how much?!)
Made supper and while it was cooking..
Washed the outside windows.
Phew.
Just got to wipe the bleach off before bed or I'll dream of swimming baths.
I'm going before a) I start being random or b) I just type all evening and never get to post.

That's good news about Holly, Lil_me, I bet the boys are excited about going to see her. Don't envy your trip through the T Tunnel though,I'm always fearful that someone in front of me breaks down, I'd go through it with my eyes shut if I could.
Archers ladies, I'll be in your gang too. Not a regular- don't know what's happened since Brian brought Rory home - but I do know where there's a catch up site! I can't abide the omnibus theme tune either, I always want to sing 'When Santa got stuck up the Chimney' to it.
Ooh, hang on I'm back to back posting with myself. Time to leave.

Lil_me - great to hear Holly has settled in well. Look forward to hearing about your visit.
Don't know where else to post this so here goes.....
I want a hobby....any ideas? I want something for me. I've tried horse riding again but no longer have the nerve, I took up kick boxing which was great but DH away so can't make the classes, I can't do anything out of the house during the week for the same reason and I work all day Saturday so that's out. I'd like something active but am obviously limited because I have to be at home with my children in the evenings. Strange request but any ideas? xxJanuary budget
