    Morning all!

This is the day I've been dreading, LOL! We're in the middle of moving the boys' rooms around, so our bedroom is full of furniture, books, it's basically the dumping ground! I spent an hour in there last night putting away what I could, but I doubt I'll be able to do everything on the list today.

Also it's a busy day for me - first of the month is always hectic, plus I have to take the boys into town this afternoon. So I'm not sure how much time I'll get today. Will do my best though :T :T

Have a good day - enjoy the sunshine!!

    Morning All

Todays list may be a little difficult for me today as OH works nights and is asleep. Will see what I can do or may subsitute my dd's bedroom for it, we'll see.

    Have a great day.

Unfortunately it can't be done at home, but it will only take me about 8 mins to get there according to the RAC route planner. Will be nice to get out of the house for a reason other than food shopping for a change, so quite looking forward to meeting new people. It was through a temp agency. £5.50/hour. What course are you going to be doing? I've just finished a PGCE Primary, but can't find a real teaching job at the moment, so I'm temping to earn some cash, as can't sign on, as partner earns too much. Will have to go and look in my wardrobe and dig out some officey clothes while I think of it.

I'm going to be doing post-graduate research into plants - so in a few years' time I should be a plant doctor!?!? I'm really looking forward to it - but the big pay-cut is a bit of a shock to the system. I'm hoping to be able to get some teaching/lab demonstration work once I start, but right now I'm watching every penny.

Hope you manage to get a teaching job before too long,

Good morning all :D I love the summer holidays...lots of lie-ins for me, well thats a lie in until about 7-7.30am unless I'm completely pooped :rotfl:

We were going to go to the library and the bank today and carry on with the local history walk but I don't think my shoulders are up to carrying library books so I'll just go to the bank and then to my mums. Woken up this morning with really achy shoulders due to the sunburn so I'm going for a cool bath later when I've caught up on email, forums & surveys (plus that means DD will sleep in longer as I won't disturb her ;) ) then I'm going to fly as the bank can wait...it's not as if there's going to be some miracle and the cheque will clear this afternoon :rotfl::rotfl:

So my plan for today :
    • Dailies
      • Beds - stripped ours and the two quilts (one under, one over us) as out on the washingline blowing through. DD is still in hers :D
      • Bathroom S&S
      • Kitchen S&S - OH did it again, so I've got the tea dishes to deal with
      • Evening meal
      • Washing - at least our bedding, maybe some clothing
    • Extras (not all to be done today ;):p )
      • Bank
      • Sewing repairs
      • Find a solution for oil on DDs football shirt
Then a small catch up :p
    • Kitchen
      • Floor
      • Cupboard fronts
      • Window sil
    • Livingroom
      • Hoover
      • Dust
      • Clear hotspots including filing & DD's work.
      • Windows inside & out
    • Hall/stairs
      • Hoover
      • Dust
      • Windows on door
      • Clean brass
    • Masterbedroom
      • Make bed (daren't hoover it though as the mattress is falling apart :o )
      • Hoover
      • Dust
      • Clear hotspot in the basket by my side of the bed.
Right I best be off to check my hotmail...there's loads of surveys in there that should have been done while I was away
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Phew - now I've caught up with everybody's posts! It sounds like there have been some hectic days for people. Lil_me you are a complete star for managing to post the list every day - even when you are unbelievably busy.

I'll definitely be a founder member of the "we love the Archers, but hate going through tunnels" sub-group. I hate tunnels, and DH doesn't do high bridges - what a pair!

Aimeelister: I have to ask - how on earth did your cat get covered in oil? Or have you no idea.

Rach: I managed to get Harry Potter for £4.98 from Costco (don't know if you are a member), I'm not sure about prices elsewhere.

Today's list shouldn't be too bad as our room is the one place I manage to keep on top off. I've already put bicarb paste on the oven for round 3 of the cleaning blitz  , and the other big task is to carry on with preparing the fruit for the rumtopf. We seem to have an excess of white currents - any suggestions for what I could do with the rest?

Then it's off out this evening for free drinks at the local art gallery :D .

    Have a good day everyone,

Morning all! My children are helping me out with flylady while I am hurting after a minor car accident - the physio on Monday told them that I can't hoover and do much housework until I heal, so they have to help (they are 11 and 13).

So, yesterday and Monday were good - they helped out, but with today being my bedroom there is less they can do - it is my domain!! I will get them to do the dailies instead and if I can do my bedroom I will, and if not, it will wait until another time!

    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing

    Level 2
Remove bed linen and replace with frsh linen
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
    Level 3
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • 27 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    • Sort one drawer, making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
    • Clean windows in these rooms
    • Clear any one hotspot

    Dailies
    • Beds and air bedrooms
    • Dishwasher
    • kitchen - S&S
    • lounge - hoover
    • hall - move any clutter that finds its way back
Hope everyone has a good day x

    Hi everyone,

Didn't get chance to post yesterday, took dd to get her new shoes and splints from the hospital and then spent most of the day playing outside in the garden with her.. Managed to get my washing done, dried and put away and gave living room a quick vac round and wipe over. Got kitchen done day before.

So for today, this is the plan,

    1) get DD's clothes ironed and get her dressed, i didn't get round to doing any ironing last night. She's watching a video in her jammies at the mo ! lol (lazy summer days eh?)
    2)Get me dressed lol
    3) Going to tackle the living room properly today, it's not looking too bad at the mo, but want to vac it properly and wipe over the tv, and some mirrors/pictures.
    4) One load of washing to do, will peg it out later, when taking DD out to play
5)Load up DW with breakfast things and wipe kitchen tops over
    6) feed dog and cat
    7) Make dd's bed
    8) S&S toilet and bathroom

I am running a bit late today lol

    Wednesday, Master Bedroom & Landing

    Level 1
    [strike]Check fire alarms are working
[/strike] did yesterday, my bro stayed over on saturday nighte - dog sitting and managed to burn something and set it off. he didn't know how to reset it so he removed it from the ceiling lol so checked it yesterday and put it back

[strike]Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing[/strike] did this morning, cat decided to knock a glass of water over very earlythis morning - he has no grace whatsoever for a cat lol so had to clear up broken glass and mop when I got up this morning
    Level 2
[strike]Remove bed linen and replace with frsh linen
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
    [/strike]

    Level 3
[strike]Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen
    [/strike]

probably won't do any missions today in the bedroom, but I do need to empty out my handbag (its full of so much junk) and I need to sort out a corner in our living room behind one of the armchairs. I have a platic storage box ful of mags, argos book, odds and ends that I need to go through and cull.

Hope everyone is having a great day and making the most of the weather - while it lasts.
