    *sobs* thats it! I've had it, I want a washer/dryer! no, I NEED a washer/dryer!

Its all the washing and trying to get stuff dried that is causing a huge backlog of work.

and I really really hate trying to get stuff dried. The weather is crap, raining all morning now its too wet to even try putting stuff out, and the stuff that has been on radiators for 3 days is still not dry! I feel a massive tantrum coming on!

Brought my bins in at least and tidied up quite a bit. Thats about it.

Pigpen you do eventually get those debts paid off if you keep working at it, and trust me, when you see that 'zero balance' it is an amazing feeling! Even seeing it coming down a tiny bit is an amazing feeling, especially if you have spent a long time only ever seeing it creeping up!

tiamai.. could you not put the heating on just for an hour or so just to get it dry?? It would be less fuel than having the dryer on for an hour and if you hung washing on EVERY radiator it would get loads more dry.. Chin up hunnybun it'll brighten up soon!!

I've got another load hung out and up to dry.. I achieved a boogie.. another bag of crap gone!!! I need to go upstairs and find about 200 hangers for the girls dresses... no.. I don't.. I'll send girls!!!!! Wow.. it has its advantages it being school holidays!!

I NEED another bag of rubbish out of the mddle room too and I shall do that shortly.. but first I must get Henry out for a walk!!

Pigpen, your right. I'm just having a bad day. Tired and cant be bothered! I'm juts lazy, I hate washing clothes, I really do.

Think the heating will have to go on for an hour later anyway, its freezing here now!

Kids playing xbox, no doubt a fight will break out soon enough though. Not much else I can do now anyway. Will get floors washed later when they are in bed. My bedroom can just wait, I have boxes and junk piled in it, so will change the bed and thats it!

    Coffee time anyway! humpph!

Hi all, nearly finished now, gonna put tea on in a bit. Had bit of a disaster earlier whe hoover blew up lol, we've had it for forever and it was battered to death lol, was vaccing living room when smoke started pouring out of it. Why do things like this happen when you're skint? Anyway managed to juggle some funds about and bought a new one from asda. Gonna do a good vac everywhere later and "play" with my new toy lol how sad am i? lol

Lil_me DD is ok at the mo with her new boots and splints, a bit wobbly, but will prob be ok in a few days once she worn them in a bit. Have got an appointment to go back next week as the splints this time havn't got any padding around them like the last set so need to keep an eye out to make sure they don't pinch and rub, if they do they said I can take them back next week and they'll pad them for us. Different Orthotist this time, to our regular one, probabaly why there is no padding...... anyway will see how dd gets on with them.

Was on hold on the phone today to the bank for half an hour, DD has just started toilet training, she kept saying she needed the toilet, but I misheard her and thought she said the dog needed the toilet, so carried on holding on the phone. When I had finished went to the bathrrom to find that DD had took off her pulls up, put the little seat on the toilet and had attempted having a wee on her own :j was so pleased. There was wee all over the seat, but she tried bless her :T so thinking toilet training malarky might not take that long after all.

Hope everyone is having a good day so far. Will try and catch up with everyone later on.

    Em x

Right well have made a big start with the boys room, unfortunately that means the rest in mine is on hold but DS did say 'I'll help you with mine then with yours, I'm being nice but don't expect it to last' :rotfl: well that was it I was in fits of laughter just by the comments.

In their room - have filled 8 huge boxes with toys, which to add to the what 20 others, need to be sorted through which hopefully will start tomorrow. Theory being the less they have the less mess and more will appreciate it. Tomorrow will start with 2 bags one for charity shop and one for bin (broken things) and then a box to keep. It won't be easy as they are horders like me!

We've moved the big storage rack into the computer/play room. What an awkward thing that was as it's corner shaped. In the process inside boxes, behind storage, beds, under mattresses etc I have found his Nintendo DS (lost several months ago) oodles of toys and at least 3 wash loads of laundry inc stinky socks. Yuk! I've stripped DS2s bed and all his linen I need to get washed and dried (inc duvet) before bed time so washing machine and drier will be on non stop. Then there must be at least 8 other wash loads to get through. Bah!

DS2 gone with Dad to another RC club thing have sent him with packed dinner as he'll be out past tea time and back just before bed, will do mine and DPs dinner later, still need to make something for DS1. I also have the pantry to start emptying tonight, inc the shelving rack, which is going into DSs room for books, I was going to buy a bookcase but may aswell recycle what we have.

Hopefully tomorrow we'll be going to get the wood to shelve out the pantry properly (shelving rack only covers half and everything else just dumped on top of each other in the other half) which I have been wanting for ages to clear some things from kitchen as there's boxes of things dumped everywhere like food processor parts, dehydrator, Xmas presents bought in sales etc. Until then will have to work the best I can to keep the clutter from the pantry sort of organised ready to go back in, somewhere I won't fall over it. Could be a challenge as there is just no space.....

Emmie sorry to hear about the vacuum cleaner, mine has a nasty burning smell at the minute but fingers crossed still going! Great news with the toilet training tho, great when they do it themselves for the first time. I've never seen splints without padding on, does seem a little strange, sure they will sort it if needs be however if there is a problem.

Going to have a little sit down, think I've earned it, might join you in having a cuppa tiamai. Oh no, argh, rain, washings out, maybe have that sit down after I get it back in..............I hate rain!
One day I might be more organised...........
