Lil_me - Dont freecycle it, I bet whoever got it would sell it on. Nearer Xmas you would probably get at least £50 for a job lot, and most people happy to pay courier costs. The job lots I have seen just take pics of the whole lot and list like 25 people, x amount of track etc etc. I plan to bundle it all together and get rid of it in one big box.
I have freecycled loads of stuff but I refuse to get rid of this stuff that way. Most of it is only a couple of years old and like you say it costs a bomb if you add it all up.0 -
Hello Lovely Flyladies,
A little less 'energised' than I was last night - I blame 2 packs of Parma violet sweets I had at work yesterday, what a cheap high that was! Still managed to do my bedroom, I stripped the bed to the WM before I left this morning and it's hanging out damply just now. Lucky folks that have had sunshine today, knowing sympathy for those struggling to get laundry dry.
I really love reading posts, particularly from new people on the thread that say it's making a difference. It's fab feeling like you've got a bit more control over the little things and the bigger things seem to follow if you keep your eye on the ball.
Hugs to all those who need them today and happy calming vibes to fraught folks. I'm really going to ask the guy who brought in all the sweets if they're for real, it was Lovehearts today and I'm unusually calm and positive this evening :rotfl:
Short and dare I say? sweet from me tonight, I need to get my supper and take the phone off the hook before Heroes at 9. It's my new favouritest show. I'm so fickle.
Have a good evening.

Busy day again, but still precious little flying.
I've been getting ready for camping trip on Friday. Have now bought just about all the bits, except for some saucepans for the new camping stove. Was going to buy camping set from Argos, but think I might just buy three of the cheapest stainless steel ones I can find from Asda instead. Phoned up about camp sites today and to my amazement I've managed to get a pitch for the weekend at one with two swimming pools, bar, restaurant, beach and play area about an hour's drive away - result!
Also been to have a look at another house today - just in case the other one we've been looking at falls through. We're still not sure what to do, but may go with the first one, despite the problems the survey threw up. We've been looking for a VERY long time and nothing else has matched up to the one we are waiting for the results of the survey on. Will be good to have some time to think things over this weekend.
Off to gym in morning and then taking kids to wildlife park with baby group. Must make picnic to take with us, will go and put BM on NOW.
Happy flying everyone! You only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -
Slow progress today. I am leaving the landing until all bedrooms are done as it is being used as a sorting area. Going to watch tv now and sort one pile of papers to make a start on the piles.

Good evening everyone,
My evening turned out to be pretty hectic. First stop a shop that just happened to have 50% off my favourite sort of tops: so I cracked and spent £17. Then on to the art gallery (mental note to self: do not drink wine *and* cocktails on an empty stomach - even if they are free! ). Then finally I cam back home where I spent 40 minutes on the phone to my dad (aged 88) talking him through down-loading attachments to emails so he can do his next Open University assignment - bless!
Well the list was not too bad:

Still feeling grotty unfortunately, and with an errant hubbie again.
When i spoke to him earlier i told him how i was feeling and he said he would be home by 5. Don't know why i even half believed him. There was a message on the answerphone when i got back from mums saying he was having problems at work and to call him, which i tried 5 times but no answer.
Guess i had best sort the kitchen myself again, and then i think i won't even bother waiting up for him like i normally do as he will probably wake me up again anyway.
On the bright side, charlie had a lovely time at mums playing with my nephews water table, and playing with the others. He was absolutely bushwacked so hopefully we won't be up too early in the morning. Can't even think what i may need to do tomorrow yet, but i guess it will be tackle Charlie's washing pile as there were some light things in there with stains and they aren'tgoing to sort themselves.
Night to you all, see you tomorrow, hopefully with less of the lurgy to pass about.

lil_me - thanks for the concern
Its a horrendous list and there is no way it wil get done any time soon, but at least its written down somewhere now! The weekends are really the only time I can get things done as the kids are too demanding in the day and then I am too tired at night. Anyway I think I am in denial about how close the baby coming is OMG I am so not ready
