:T Well done Pigpen, amazing
Emmie hope your DD is ok with her new shoes, I have several friends with children who wear them and know some children find new ones tricky to get used to.
Hypno06 hope you're feeling better soon and the kids are helping.
Well another shock this morning, when DS2 totalled his points up last night he's earned he wasn't happy (each point is worth a penny and he managed to earn £5.30 in all the little jobs), he wanted more, so this morning he's even done washing up! (I did the knives and glassware) It's the first time anyone but me in my house has washed dishes. He's being very helpful and at this rate I'll be moaning that he's too helpful and costing me a fortune. He's popped out with his Dad who needs more stuff for his cars  and took the sunglasses bag he's decided is his money bag with him, wish immense pride. Was also amazed yesterday how little they 'wanted on' as they were spending their own money not mine! Put several things back as decided was a waste of money, I should have done this ages ago.
As for flying, well I was naughty last night and dumped some of the shopping bags in a corner instead of unpacking themwish I had just dealt with them now  have barely even made a start on the list apart from doing the bed, so after a little mooch on the internet and a coffee I shall crack on.
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all
Stripped and remade my bed. Dusted and polished all bedrooms and vacuumed all bedrooms. Landing vacuumed and bathroom and toilet floors.
DD stripped her bed today instead of tomorrow as she's away tonight. The weather is good so I've done three loads today. Had to hang a couple of things on the airer until there's more room on the line.
For the third day running I've forgotten to hoover the stairs. I've done the living room, hallway and kitchen 3 days running and not the stairs. Must remember tomorrow.
cut grass front and back and done the edges and swept up.
Veggies prepared for dinner.
I am really hot now so I deserve a little sit down before I check how the washing is drying.0 -
Morning everyone (checks watch) just!!
Not having a good one today. I was woken up last night by DH coming to bed really late after getting engrossed in Harry Potter. He heard an alarm going off somewhere so he was clattering about opening windows, then went outside, then he woke charlie up at 5:30 this morning when he got up to go to work early.
Normally i wouldn't mind, but i am not feeling too good - achey, very tired, and tearful - nothing i can really put a finger on.
I have been pottering around and made a couple of phonecalls,- finally got round to ringing the dentist and was told i had been struck off, even though when i rang last time my particular dentist was on a year off and i was promised i wouldn't be because i had tried to make an appointment in the timeframe. Apparently i am now at the back of a long list to re-register and they aren't taking anyone new at the moment
- then rang ASDA photo printing as the photos we had printed last week, 9 of them were blue. They want me to send back all 160 photos so they can investigate it before they do anything, which frankly they can get stuffed as i spent several hours last week putting all the good ones in photo albums, so they needn't think i will be pulling them all out so i can then do it again. Snotty letter coming along i think
and i have some nourishing lentil soup on the hob in the hope it will make me feel better.
Think i am going to give up for the day and go to my mums. I've had the forethought of getting chicken curry out of the freezer for dinner tonight, so i am officially taking strike action.
rach -harry potter was £5 at Tesco and ASDA. I know you had to spend £50 at tesco to get this price but i don't know if it was also conditional at ASDA. I asked my sister who works there, but she wasn't really sure.
Wave to everyone - hope the Sun is making your day go well
oh - and the oily cat most likely crawled under a carOurs sometimes do that, although i am mean and if they get anything on their coats (black one came home with fence paint once) i cut off the offending bit of fur, as i have been nastily scratched when they haven't wanted to play along before, and i still have the scars to prove it. Well done if you can bath your cat but i seriously wouldn't want to try.
Michelle, x0 -
Michelle ((hugs)) have a nice time at your Mum's & hope you feel better soon.
Ok Pollybear's list has made me feel tired looking at it but also motivating me to get on with it, you've done so much already, well done, coffee is finished so off to make a start now!!One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyone,
Well havent even compiled a to do list today yet. Have been over to work to take certificate in and my boss was off sick! Then took DD and doogie to the country park for a walk and a play. Home and just had cuppa with Ricotta and orange scone with mascapone - mmmmmmmm - while catching up with thread.
What to do now, do I start on the dailies or do them when I'm getting tea and start on the huge hotspot that is our bedroom. Wonder if DD is up for the helping mummy in the bedroom challenge. Trouble is the suns shining and its nice outside. Decisions decisions.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
When the weather is hot I have to do as much as I can early. I've pulled all the curtains now to keep it a bit cooler and I'm listening to Rufus Wainwright. He's very cool0
