Wow, can't believe how busy it's been on here today. Just had some good news - the job agency I signed up to the other week has found me a temp job starting tomorrow; ok, it's only for 2 days, but at least it will go some way to making up some of the vet bill. :jIt's doing web research (googling company telephone numbers), so I'll feel right at home, considering I seem to spend most of my life on here at the moment.
I've deviated from the list a bit today, as decided to run the hoover round the bedroom as well as the hallway, and ended up pulling the bed out to hoover under it, and found mildew on the wall, so out came the bleach and rubber gloves, and I've managed to remove most of it, and left it to dry with the windows wide open. Can't believe how dusty the carpet was under the bed - maybe I won't have such a sore throat in the morning now that I've got rid of some of the allergens.
Hallway and bedroom carpets thoroughly vacuumed and I've cleaned the glass in the frontdoor inside and out. Now to clean the brass door knocker if I can find the brasso, as neighbour opposite puts us to shame!
I've also meal planned for the next 2 weeks, which I'm really chuffed about - am starting to get the hang of it now. :TEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Afternoon, or is it evening, all :hello: We're back from our walk this afternoon and I'm sunburnt - I forgot to put sunscreen on but figured as long as we were mostly in the shade we'd be fine
I'll be finding the baby lotion soon to rub on to take away some of the heat (aftersun tend to make me itchy ) and grabbing a pint of water or two!
I seem to be getting there with jobs as well- Dailies

Hello everyone,
I hope you've all been enjoying the sun: where I am it has been accompanied by gusts of wind - so it wasn't that warm. But on the other hand the washing dried in record time.
Sexymouse: Congratulations with the temping - sounds like a great job, even if it is only for a couple of days. Do you do it from home - or do you have to go somewhere to do it? (Not that I'm thinking of ways to increase my income once I become a student again)
Witchypoo: I'm glad I'm not the only Archers addict. Now if only they would loose the horrid jazzed up version of the theme tune that the use for the omnibus.
Living room, stairs and hall all thoroughly deloused. I even managed to clean all the radiators with stardrops. They were mucky as our elderly cat doesn't so much jump onto window-sills as scramble up the radiators with back-legs flayling everywhere.
Have a good evening everyone

Unfortunately it can't be done at home, but it will only take me about 8 mins to get there according to the RAC route planner. Will be nice to get out of the house for a reason other than food shopping for a change, so quite looking forward to meeting new people. It was through a temp agency. £5.50/hour. What course are you going to be doing? I've just finished a PGCE Primary, but can't find a real teaching job at the moment, so I'm temping to earn some cash, as can't sign on, as partner earns too much. Will have to go and look in my wardrobe and dig out some officey clothes while I think of it.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Afternoon all.
Slowly making progress, will strike off later. DS2 has done his jobs so the coins are collecting in his pot - DS1 is off playing golf, 2nd day with no jobs done for him so his cash will not be lasting long! DS3 was asked to move all his toys so I could hoover the living room - he thought I said his bedroom so the whole lot is in the hall - bless him - now I have to hoover his room or he will be sad. Doing his bed as well which will help as there is no way I will get all kids rooms done on Friday. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening All
Didnt do too bad today for my first day especially as it is the school holidays and we have had guests.
Thoroughly hoovered hall stairs and front room, clean bannisters (have a lot of bannisters). Also did a couple of phonecalls that I had been putting off.
So am feeling quite pleased with myself - considering the garden swing chair was calling me all day. Babysteps as they say!0 -
updated my list above.. and am now off out for food!!! YUMMY!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Need to hoover the lounge and the furniture in there when DS goes up to bed and then that's done for the week, all other jobs done in there this morning.
Finally got rid of all the glass and a big bag of old clothing at the recycling bank. So pleased it's all gone at last.
Posted 2 letters that had been hanging around for a few days.. oops!
Bought DS's new school trousers and polo tops so am pleased that job's done.
Helped DS put away postcards in his postcard collection folder and then put away and dated, as many as I could, all our family photos from last September until the start of July. So glad that's done!
Have bought a new iron, so after the tea things are washed and put away I'm going to give it it's first outing and clear the ironing.
Better go and get the clothes in from the line and add them to pile!...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
