Mrs MP your lists are ace
I thought I had topped the random poll, but I bow to your greater randomness......
DD has a ukulele, but we possess no didgeridoos
Everything has been on hold as I have been so ill since my return, but I think I have turned a corner today...
i am home alone this week so attempting to Kondo the freezer of some of the stocks in there - means I haven't had to worry about cooking but still able to try to cure myself from within (freezer full of good, nutritious, home cooked food). Am also building up to finding 31 things to Kondo on Saturday as I did one day fewer for my month - being September.
One item will be a top I took with me overseas, it doesn't fit with the new "image" such that it is, and makes me feel uncomfortable when I wear it. It cost a bit, which is why I have been reluctant to let it go - even though I know all the "sunk money" arguments. I also rather like the material, but it isn't my style anymore. I think I am still hoping something miraculous will happen and I will suddenly click with it. It isn't going to is it?I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Unless you're a sewer and can refashion it - no, it's not going to change. Set it free and think of the pleasure someone else will find when they discover their perfect top in a CS.
This is probably a bit patronising on my part but when I donate stuff I kind of hope it will be bought by someone who really needs it and can't afford much, and that gives me pleasure - I've been in hard times and can remember the struggle to find things to wear.
Today I'm Kondoing some of the 20lbs of Bramley windfalls that I picked up yesterday. Apple pur!e, apple chunks, apple biscuits, apple cake, I eat some with my porridge every day but I'm a bit fed up with apples just now. lucky I made some space in the freezer!Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Hope you are fully recovered soon VJsmum, looking forward to your 31st list.

If you sew or know someone that does you can make a cushion cover out of it. I made one out of an Aran sweater I was given definitely not me but lovely as a cushion.
If you don't sew you toob have video instructions on how to make a no sew cushion cover its just clever folding of the fabric.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

Good morning everyone. I would like to join you if I may? I have been inspired by your journeys and have made a good start on my own journey. I have ordered MK's book from Amazon but couldn't wait for the book to make a start. At the weekend I emptied out my wardrobe and had a good sort through my clothes. I filled four big black bags with clothes and one bag full of coat hangers. These have now gone to the charity shop.
I also made a start on my book cases. So far I have boxed up about 100 books that I probably haven't looked at in several years together with about 25 dvd's. These are now all sat in the porch waiting to go to the charity shop but as it is pouring down with rain I can't take them to the charity shop. I hope the rain stops soon as I really need to get them gone.
I'm looking forward to getting the book but in the meantime I am working my way slowly through the thread for more inspiration and of course doing some more sorting out. Hope everyone has a good day x

Going to get rid of violin, key board and penny whistles as nobody interested in them any more. I would love to get rid of piano but have been told no by DD2:o Maybe when she is off to university next year I might just lose it.............:rotfl: Everything else is played by DDs or their friends when they are round. Actually so is piano.........*sigh*Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Just finished sorting out the cupboard in the hall. Twenty three cookery and gardening books I haven't looked at in years have now been liberated and added to the charity shop mountain. I also had to laugh as I found two Delia how to cook book 3's. I can cook hence the reason I haven't looked at the book in years and why did I keep all those cookery books as when I need a recipe I always look on the internet!
Four yellow pages books and one thompson directory also pulled out and put into recycling bin.
Wow the feeling you get when you look at what you have got rid of is amazing. I just need it gone out of the house now - please stop raining!0
