Thought I would really struggle with Mins today because out all day with little people but revisited bathroom cupboard. Think I left things in there because I had space but I am never going to use most of the stuff.

    Mins Day 27
    1. Red wine left in bottle a few weeks - tasted of vinegar
    2. Small plastic watering can RC
    3. Expensive peg bag - unused all summer and brings no joy
    4. Cut back raspberry canes (up 5.30 am doing this in dressing gown)
    5. Cut back and tidied herbs
    6. Junk mail
    7. Soft toy purchased for charity went home with delighted DGD3
    8. Plastic tooth mug -always looks dirty
    9. Unopened in date face cream to CS
10-16 Various face and skin products x 7 best before 2010
    17. Body lotion best before 2008
18-23 Various lotions in date but smell awful x 6
    24-25 Lipsticks x2 - never use
    26. Mascara - never use
    27. Various plastic scrapers for hair removal

Most of this lot somehow escaped the bathroom Kondo - one of the first areas which I did.

    :) Evening all.

Just in from my archery class where I took a small accessory for a type of archery I no longer practise and sold it to someone. This is a regular occurance as people change kit and the usual rate is 50% of new price, which sees everyone happy. Not a large item, but it was a drawer-dweller and there is now a few square inches of space where it used to be. I have my eye on another drawer-dweller for sale at the workplace but will leave that until week after next as I need to do a bit of research first.

A freegle pickup from the hideyhole outside happened whilst I was out, which is great. Two small things still out there to go, don't know if their picker-uppers are going to be pesky no-shows, I'll leave it till midweek next week and if they haven't gone, will withdraw the offer and readvertise.

:D For those eagerly anticipating the News From the Loft, expect the first installment on Sunday. I might possibly do a little lofting late Sat afternoon, but that might be in the form of bringing a couple of boxes down to sort out in the comfort of the sitting-room. It isn't a comfy loft, it's a cramped and crawl-space type loft, with one lightbulb on a string and whatever torch you have at hand. I shall be taking my headtorch.

I'm enjoying the minslists, nodding along, thinking yup, yup, yup, had one of those and occasionally coming to a WTH?! item like a ukelele and stopping dead in my tracks.:rotfl:

Keep up the good work, lovely peeps. GQ x

    Hello Konodites :D
A very joyful day today :D Dog went Swimming which always brings me joy as he is so miserable it is so funny to watch :o

He doesnt mind it really but just likes me to know I have upset him by waking him up to go there ;)

The other joyful thing is I have got a new window cleaner and he is GOOD :eek::eek: Which is most shocking as around here they are usless or dont turn up dont really know which of those are worse when you have seen some of their 'work' and I say that though gritted teeth :D

No phone calls from the agents :D and picked all the pears from the tree in my garden and they are lovely :) So that was also joyful ;)

So all in all a very nice day.Hope yours has also been as good.

GQ Looking forward to 'Tales from the parental loft' at the weekend ;)

Well done to everyone that is still posting their mins lists. I'd started but fell off the wagon! Still getting rid of miscellaneous items as they present themselves. Just going to kondo a birthday card to a friend on Friday and have decided to get her a voucher (for the local nail bar) plus treat her to a meal rather than buy her 'stuff'. :D

I've started so I'll finish! Surprised to gave got to Day 28 of mins and it is getting harder - may be reduced to counting individual junk mail items and sheets of paper. Yesterday's second Kondo of bathroom 1 cupboards was an unexpected bonus. May try bathroom 2 today.

I should concentrate on finishing the paperwork and photo Kondo really but it is amazing how much stuff I gave found to go. DH asked for one of the bowls he had agreed to Kondo but all already out of house to CS. The new ones are fine.

Right Day 28 list not even started yet so onwards.

GQ if you were stopped in your tracks by the ukuleles how about didgeridoos? Ds2 went to didgeridoo club briefly at school and started collecting them so now has about 5 he hasn't played one for ages but when asked if they can go no he NEEDS them ALL. If anyone knows the answer to why a 15 year old boy NEEDS that amount or even one when he doesn't play please let me know.

Better kondo the boys off to school/ work I suppose.

    Have a joyful Wednesday all

Well 5 didgerydos certainly tops the ukulele!:rotfl::T
    You've made my day :D

You could always use them as an alarm call to get them off to School
Perhaps he might be keen to get rid of them then
You would need understanding neighbours though
Eee that's tickled me no end ha ha

Mrs MP The kids of today !didgeridoos:eek: we were lucky to learn to play the recorder badly :rotfl:I am sure he is keeping the 5 JIC ;)

I am going to kondo the carp out of the ovens today. Yes its that time of year for cleaning the cooker :( Which is a job I dont find one bit joyful.Oh well at least it will look good for all of 2mins ;)

Already have all the shelves in one of them bags which has already leaked all over the worktop and left Blue print everywhere (sigh) Going to be a thankless task me thinks.

Oh well better get on with it as I am tempted already to go out and do something joyful :D

    Have a lovely day everyone

We are lucky that neighbour doesn't mind, as the lads have a piano (rescued when local school was throwing it away) several guitars, a drum kit,(with about a 100 drumsticks) a violin, couple of ukuleles (they survived) and a xylophone :o and I have it on good authority that another instrument will enter the house at Christmas. bet you're glad you don't live near me.

It's lashing it down here, boys decluttered along with a brolly, taking that as a sign ds1 is all growed up now as in his teens he wouldn't even bother with a coat

Going to go and see what I can kondo for today's mins list.
